Um... granted it's done from a comedy angle but... The Cobra still trumps this.
I think I'll have to post that list I've been working up of finishers I'd like to see brought back, since I trimmed it down to ones that are still kosher with the E's "no piledriver/brainbuster variations" rules. |
#1 razors edge
#2 dominator
#3 Edgecator
#4 double underhook powerbomb
#5 double arm DDT
off the top of my head |
Crucifix Powerbomb is one - honestly with the variations of it the Cesaro used as Claudio Castagnoli I'm kind of surprised he isn't using it, though I'm certainly not complaining about the Gotch Neutralizer or the Flying Uppercut because both look BA.
Double arm DDT is kind of overdone, they're not going to let anyone hit it (and a lot of guys still wouldn't sell it) like they do in Mexico and Japan so it end up looking like a deadweight Pedigree with the head to the side.
Top of my list and I think it would a sick one to give Ryback if he ever went heel is the Heart Punch. I could even see giving Ryback something like the Polish Hammer (catch a guy rebounding off the ropes or from a number of different, sudden-pop angles the way Shawn could/would hit the SCM could add something to his otherwise stilted match paces).
The Curb Stomp would be awesome (Yes, I'm a Super Dragon mark, but back when Nova was in the E as "Simon Dean" they actually let him use the move as a signature every once in a while - called it "The Carb Stomp").
I'd love to see some grappler break out Cattle Mutilation again, even as a secondary finisher.
The Gas Mask was just an awesome powerhouse finisher, though honestly could be used by any taller wrestler with decent core strength and a gimmick for "working stiff" (would be an awesome move to give a rebooted Swagger in my opinion). So few people remember the move because the guy who used it was freakin' Pete Gas (from the Mean $treet Posse - but it's a reverse full-nelson lifted into a sitout or released powerbomb and looks wicked). Pretty sure Luke Gallow's used a modified version of it as "The Twelfth Step" during the sXs days.
I'd love to see both the Play of the Day (leaping reverse STO) and the Playmaker (Overdrive) brought back by someone, but they could be holding off on that in case or for when MVP does come back eventually (and it's not like ADR isn't using a variation on Overdrive to transition into the cross-arm breaker). _________________

I still can't believe that some thought Tensai Albert Train was going to matter when he returned to the WWE and propped him up.
Nice way to end the show. Heyman is so good at what he does. _________________

My guess is that Vince will give Maddox a contract for proving Heyman/Sheild were in unison. _________________

Amusing question stolen from somewhere else.
| Quote: | Randy Orton bought 792 copies of a DVD from John Cena’s garage sale for a total cost of: $13ab4.5c
What are the values of the missing digits a,b, c? What was the unit price of each DVD, assuming they were all sold at the same exact price? |
