Now hopefully we saved some for the Nuggets Wednesday. That's another huge game. _________________

i still dont have a clue what to say about what happened last night. I am a little ticked off that we gave up those 5 points in the last 20 secs....seriously who has seen a 50 point win before?
That game took about .5 off our points allowed per game too, a few more of those and we might get to #26!!
when i first started watching basketball i was a huge reggie miller fan, in fact i was a Pacers fan until he retired and i decided i needed to come back to the Rockets....but COME ON PACERS, YOU ARE KILLING US!!! They have 3 straight loses, but they are in the east so who cares right? Well those 3 loses happen to be against the Blazers, Jazz and Nuggets, the 3 teams we are in competition with....not to mention, they beat us right before they started this 3 game slide! i think im gonna go rant in their thread for a minute _________________

The Patrick Beverly signing has been huge for our bench. He can play point and let Douglas be a 2 instead of a 1 _________________

I seem to be pretty good about picking out keys to the games, and really horrible about predicting who will win the games
i would have bet anything we would lose to the Jazz, instead we beat them by 45!
best thing about all that is our starters only played 30 minutes, which means we go into tonight's game having only played 30 minutes in the last 4 days, so we should be well rested, but unfortunately we are playing a team that is on fire as of late winning 10 of 12, including beating us by 10 points at home
Keys:
1. Rebounding - Nuggets are #1, we dont have to win the rebounding edge, but we have to break even and not get dominated
2. Turnovers - If we hit our season average, then we will lose
3. Free throws - a big part of our game is getting into the paint and getting free throws
last time we played we lost rebounding 41-38, we lost turnovers 22-14, and we lost free throws made 17-10, and we committed more fouls by a huge 21-12 margin
throw in the normal Jeremy Lin gets owned by good point guards and we will be lucky to keep this one within 10 points
The good news: We are off til Saturday when we play the bobcats at home
The Bad news: 6 of the next 8 (after bobcats) are against teams that will be in the playoffs, should we lose those games, we would find ourselves 1 game under .500 and most likely behind the Blazers and the Lakers (who will be 2 games over .500) _________________

i would suspect we would only offer a package of:
Carlos Delfino, tony Douglas, a 1st round pick in the future, and a choice of Patrick Patterson or Marcus Morris, possibly some more minor players to make the cap room work out on both sides
im pretty sure that Lin-Harden-Parsons-Asik are off limits unless a guy like Howard was to come free _________________

Harden settles for way to many jumpers early in games.
That being said, I love what he's doing to start this game by getting to the rim and drawing fouls. It gets scores going an with easy baskets and is what he needs to do more of! _________________

Josh Smith is expected to be moved before the trade deadline.
He's been killing it of late. |
I had a dream like night that we traded for him.

Good for him. I honestly felt he got snubbed last season in the game, but glad he gets a chance to play in Houston. I hope we have a rep on All star saturday night. Maybe Delfino in the 3PT shootout or Lin in the skills challenge. _________________
