Have you seen our defense this year?
We gave up 150 yards and 2 touchdowns in the final minute of our game against the Lions and nearly lost.

Obviously, Gregg Williams is a great defensive coordinator, which is why he's being given this opportunity. If it weren't for Bountygate, there would be no problems with this at all. He should be able to improve the Titans' defense immensely, at the cost of negative PR.

The Titans have some good players and potential on that roster but they continue to make stupid decisions that are going to keep that team mediocre.

Naming a guy who hasn't even been reinstated as assistant head coach. This move just reeks of desperation.
Having said that, Williams is a great defensive mind who should do wonders for our defense, specifically our LBs. |

That makes more sense. I couldn't figure out why we were promoting him without any other apparent competition for his services.
