Here she blows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5 .Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU - 6’5”, 240-pound in the mold of Jason Pierre-Paul, Lions take him with their number 5 pick. He is lighting fast hybrid pass rusher and will tear up at the NFL Scouting Combine. Thirty one teams will cross him off their draft board due to his low weight and because he has no bull rush and his hand use is worthless. Lions disagree with the other teams and believe he is the perfect fit for their ineffective wide 9 system.
36. Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina, at pick number 36 in the second round the Lions believe they have the steal of the draft. They strongly believe after careful medical evaluation that the second devastating knee injury in as many years will not affect him in the future. They think he could be as good as Adrian Peterson.
67. Da’Rick Rogers, WR, Tennessee Tech, the Lions can’t believe their luck and draft the 6’3” on the field talented wide receiver with their 3rd round selection. He was once the University of Tennessee’s number 1 receiver until kicked off the team for acting like a prima donna as well as failed drug tests. He transferred to Tennessee Tech to get his body cleaned up. The Lions are ecstatic because Da’Rick reminds them of the once superstar Charles Rogers. They also want to cut Titus Young due his prima donna persona, so, they decide to move the same direction.
131. Tyrann Mathieu, CB/PR, LSU, also known as the “honey badger,” Lions love his 5’9”, 175-pound frame and his unique ability as a nickel corner and punt returner. Lions overlook his many drug violations resulting in being kicked off the LSU football team. Lions see that his body is well rested and with his speed he’ll be ready to smoke the competition in the NFL. He reminds the Schwartz of Adam “Packman” Jones.
134. Greg Reid, CB/PR, Valdosta State, Lions realize that you can’t have enough small corner backs with speed for returning punts. The Valdosta State won the Division II national title partly due to Reid’s punt return abilities. Most NFL scouts have not been watching him because he was kicked off Florida State’s team. He was on pace to break Deion Sanders career record for punt return yards at FSU.
169. Brad Wing, P, LSU, informed Lions brass that the reason for early entry for the NFL Draft was what he wanted to do and that his failed drug test LSU was not his fault. He suggests that they must have mixed his urine with the honey badgers. The Lions except his reasoning and see the 6’3”, 200-pounder with his fiery attitude and great success rate as special team’s weapon.
Lions would fortunate to draft players with experience at different divisions. |

I would probably stop watching football if they draft Lattimore in the 2nd round. _________________ Its only a matter of time until Hockey Town USA is rocking again!

I think he was mocking what he thinks the Lions will do, not actually what he wants them to do. _________________ Football is love, love is life. |

Rockcity,
It is a LIONS MOCKERY of the draft. Look for some humor in life.
Also, do you think these players have worse issues than say;
2011 Detroit Lions Draft
Round 1 - Nick Fairley - drugs and alchohol issues
Round 2 - Titus Young - Prima Donna NUT JOB
Round 2 - Mikel LeShoure - Marijuana Eater two times
Round 5 - Doug Houge - Solid citizen losy football player
Round 7 - Johnny Culbreath - Drugs
Kidding aside the Lions draft could very well go this way!! |

Since this is sarcastic, you know Lattimore is on pace to be healthy week 1, right? A more sarcastic pick would have been Montee Ball because he is a goal line back, which we already have 2 of. _________________ I <3 Kate Upton and Ezekiel Ansah, just FYI

It would completely fit the Lions draft mold, though. It's just what they do. _________________
