Why not? he has out performed tom brady and manning in the playoffs.
He might not be great in the regular season but he is a beast in the playoffs. If brady played up to flaccos level in the playoffs then patriots would actually win one of those superbowls. |
lol. Mozwanted, never fails to diss Tom Brady in every thread. Its as reliable as Austin Rivers sucking. _________________

Are people crazy? Flacco has done very little to deserve Peyton Manning money. He's a good game manager, and he's been damn good in the playoffs this year. But is there anyone that would take Flacco over these quarterbacks?
Manning
Brady
Rodgers
Brees
Romo
RG3
Luck
E.Manning
Ryan
Flacco is on a consistently good football team. They've been managed really well, they have all the key components in place to win a lot of football games year in and year out. He fits the role of a game manager very well, but in no way is he elite and he'll never be that elite quarterback.
I just think if he was on a worse football team he would have been benched a couple of years ago because they wouldn't have given him the opportunity to grow like he has. Things really worked in his favor by going to the Ravens. |

Pay the man!!!
(which in turn will make Matty Ryan demand that much if not more, thus locking up a significant amount of cap space for ATL) _________________

So much wrong with this post!!!
1.) He's not a game manager, and has NOT been a game manager since, ohhhhh about 2010...
2.) I bolded the QB's that I would take Flacco over, and none of them are really close...You also forgot to put Roethlisberger on that list, but that's another story, because he deserves to be up there as well (and no, I wouldn't take Flacco over him).
3.) @ the italicized comment! "they wouldn't have given him the opportunity to grow like he has." How exactly did Cam Cameron let Flacco grow? By keeping the reigns tightly held on Flacco and NEVER giving him full control of the offense? By running an offense from the 1960's that featured absolutely ZERO concepts to help WR's get open? By running an offense that didn't allow audibles until last year? By not drafting a WR or TE in the first round until Torrey Smith? Those are not things organizations do to "help" their young QB. Flacco, if anything, by going to the Ravens was held back because he was forced into the game manager role, with little offensive weapons around him (even Ray Rice wasn't a first-round pick!) and told "don't screw it up!"...
What a coincidence that the second Cam Cameron leaves, Flacco suddenly looks like an All-World QB who's dominating in the playoffs. What a surprise that when Ray Rice is virtually invisible throughout the playoffs and Flacco shines, the Ravens are in the Superbowl.
On any other team, especially a team not centered around their defense like the Ravens are, Flacco would've had a better offensive system, better weapons, and an easier division for the first 5 years of his career and would've flourished much sooner. But no matter, he's flourishing now and he's about to be a SB winning QB. _________________

He's a lot like Eli Manning. Both are inconsistent with their play but they both have carried their teams for some games. And they're both on well-managed teams.
Ravens will probably give in to Flacco because Flacco has brought stability and success to that position and team.
I do agree with you though... except that I wouldn't take Romo and RG3 over Flacco. _________________

Please do so the Packers are gonna have to give Rodgers an ungodly contract
But seriously, that's outrageous if he gets that. _________________ The Heist. |

At the end of the Denver game, he made a terrible throw that should have lost his team the game, but the DB totally botched it. Everyone giving him credit for that is just dumb. _________________

Debating whether it was a "good" or "great" throw is one thing, but to call it a terrible throw is just dumb. _________________

| Flacco's the greatest QB of all time...so it is only fitting that he deserves what Brees, Manning, Brady, and Rodgers makes combined. Right? |
