Another good one is Leach vs Willis, Leach did pretty good against him last year. _________________ Ravens will make the playoffs. |

| I hope they find some sort of release out partying. Ravens will hit harder. |

I really want to see how the 49ers run D does. They need to shut down the run and make this one dimensional, thats usually how they've beaten teams before. I'm confident in the 49ers run D stopping Ray Rice but Bernard Pierce is an x-factor. |
Definitely interested to see who the Niners play against Boldin in the slot. My best guess would be Culliver, since he's your most physical corner, but we will find out. |
Wrong. Culliver is our nickel but he only plays on the boundary. Carlos Rogers is our slot corner and he'll play most of the game on Boldin.
Culliver will likely be going against Torrey Smith all game. _________________

Okay, I stand corrected. Looks like Boldin's about to have another monster game then! _________________

Changing my prediction to 31-20, we dominate both sides of the ball. _________________ Ravens will make the playoffs. |

I feel Smith will have the better game of the two WRs. _________________

Maybe, but I feel like the 49ers are generally very good at leaving safeties back and letting the pass rush get to people. Smith has big days when corners are left 1v1 on him in zero coverage. _________________

I'm a little nervous about this game just because its a big game.
But generally speaking, I'm pretty confident going in.Both defenses seem to match up pretty well with both offenses. I expect the 49ers to be able to have some success running the football on our defense. I think our offense struggles with their defense early on. But I like our special teams to have a big game. I think it should keep us in the game heading into the 2nd half. Something like a score of 10-6... two big returns capped off by Tucker field goals that keep us within range.
Second half, we make some adjustments. Defense shuts down the run in the 2nd. Offense finds a way to get Torrey involved in the intermediate parts of the field. We score 2 touchdowns and get a field goal to win: 23-17... Akers misses a kick in the 2nd half that would've tied the game. _________________

I've already stated a few times in this thread, but the likely match ups will be:
Rogers vs Boldin
Bowman vs Rice
Willis vs Pitta
Brown/Culliver vs Jones/Smith
Now, someone said Boldin will have a big day because Rogers is covering him? Rogers struggles with the shifty slot WRs like Amendola, Harvin, Cruz, ect. Boldin is not quicker than him so he should be fine for the most part. Not saying it will be a easy match up, but Rogers is a pretty physical CB himself. If our run defense can't stop Rice/Pierce with the front 7, it's going to be a long day. This will free up Jones or Smith to have 1 on 1 coverage on the outside. _________________

Ray Rice vs. the ILB's will be a good one. Ed Reed vs. Kaep will be good, and Aldon vs. Mount McKinnie should be good as well.
Oh, and Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh in "Who can yell and whine at the refs the most and provide us with the most GIF's" bowl. |
there not even a question.
we win hands down. _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

Ravens - 24
49ers - 21
I'm going to throw up now.
Here's hoping the refs are not noticeable in the game and make fair calls for each team. _________________

I'm sure Steelers nation would still rather see the 49ers tie them for super bowls then the Ravens win a second, right? _________________
