Not sure if we still can, I will check, but maybe we should put an offer in on Steve Mclendon NT from Pitt, he is RFA but its right to first refusal, they either match or we get him, with no compensation!!!

I want to say no. It'd be great to get a second rounder but considering how much we'll be using TE sets with Pep, I'd keep both.

The way Im was thinking, was if we did this deal it would have to be for Allen, with Pep coming in and Luck just too much chemistry..
If we did trade Allen we would be getting a round improvment fro where he was drafted..Not too bad..
It is a very tough call, Miami seems very interested in Allen over Fleener aswell!

Not in favor of trading Fleener or Allen. After watching a few Stanford games this year we probably need to add another reliable TE.
As for the Dallas trade I would be okay with Angerer and a 6th for Ratliff and Vickers. We would be taking on 6M in salary

1. I agree on our TE's....I told them when they pmed me that we probably wouldnt be moving them, but feel free to make an offer...So they did, and came correct with it, but I love both of these guys.
As for Dallas trade, I would be ok with it too! If they still want to 2014 6th rounder would we still be down...I think it should be fine personally w/o it we are taking a little extra cap hit fro a tea that needs it...

Maybe something like this:
4yrs / 6M - with a 1M signing bonus.
Yr 1 - 1M salary + 250,000 SB = 1.250 cap hit
Yr 2 - 1M salary + 250,000 SB = 1.250 cap hit
Yr 3 - 1M salary + 250,000 SB = 1.250 cap hit
Yr 4 - 3M salary + 250,000 SB = 3.250 cap hit
I would guarantee 4M. He would be getting a contract similar to the one McKinney ( 2yrs / 2M with a 300,000 SB) signed last year but longer and with guarantee money.
