Cincinnati Bengals
1 *Kevin Minter ILB LSU
2 *Matt Elam SS Florida
2 *Giovani Bernard RB North Carolina
3 *David Amerson CB North Carolina State
4 Malliciah Goodman DE Clemson
5 Andre Ellington RB Clemson
6 Lerentee McCray OLB Florida
6 Chris Gragg TE Arkansas
i would be so happy if this panned out this way. It seems like a typical Bengals draft to me. To land Minter, Elam, Bernard, Amerson, and Ellington all in the same draft class would be amazing. _________________

Vikings draft is nice, but I would rather have Patterson or Manti Te'o in the 1st. _________________

1.) Love it, don't change.
2.) DJ Swearinger or Tony Jefferson, if we go safety here. Otherwise, I'd be keen to taking Margus Hunt or Robert Woods here.
3.) Kyle Long here. Ted Thompson loves swing offensive linemen.
4.) Don't mind Ball but Le'Veon Bell or Joseph Randle would fit our system better as they could both be a three down backs for us.
5.) Solid pick.
6.) Would be okay with it as he's got return ability and he's a low risk, high reward pick here.
7.) Love it. _________________

For the Cowboys I like Floyd in the 1st but Fredrick is a reach in the 2nd especially over ashouby and Dallas Thomas. Also there is no reason to draft a qb like Bray unless they really believe he can develop into a franchise qb which I don't think there is 1 in this draft except Glennon. Thats just my opinion. Cowboys are better off waiting to get a future franchise qb with a high draft pick maybe next yr I'd say. _________________

Really nailed the Browns 5th rounder. The others, not so much.
Jones is sliding not only because of injury concerns (Spinal Stenosis), but also because of a lack of work ethic in the weight room and practice field. Not an option at 6, IMO.
Pugh over Rambo, Nassib, Amerson, Carradine and Loan Ryan? Not likely.
If Kelce is availabe in round 4, and he probably won't be, he should be the Browns pick. The Browns have 1 TE on the roster, and it is a key position in Chudzinski & Turner's offensive scheme. Kelce is the best all-around TE in the draft, and should be considered in round 3 if we're lucky enough to find him available there.
Travis Long or DeVonte Holloman would be an ideal depth LB in round 6.
FB isn't a bad choice in round 7, but a FA would be better for that position allowing us to use this pick on a Kicker or Punter (we'll need both since it's not likely that anyone on our Special Teams will be retained [Dawson, Hodges, Yount and Cribbs are all FAs]). |
