Announcing this now is the first shot fired at his agent. "Let's get talking or he's getting tagged".
He's worth the money. They ought to pay the man. _________________

He's gonna get paid. He'll get a deal around 10-10.5 mil a year is my guess. 3x All-Pro and 3x Pro-Bowler, might be the best LT in the game? Yeah, that's ca$h. _________________

Broncos are just applying leverage. There isn't a soul alive that believes Dove Valley was going to let him walk. He is more important to that franchises future then even Manning. _________________

He was the best LT in football this season. The guy is going to get a massive contract. Probably close to the most money ever for an o-linemen. So if he and his agent were smart they'd want to get a deal done ASAP while his value is at an all time high. _________________

Denver sort of screwed up by not offering him a long term contract before bringing in Peyton Manning. Clady was very good, but not great before and with the Peyton effect he looks like an All-Star and they're gonna have to pay him like it. _________________

He was great before Manning. They did offer, he wanted more. He'll get more. _________________

If anything I was more impressed with Clady when he had to protect happy feet Cutler, limp noodle Orton and Tebowmania. The guy is elite talent and it surprises me a long term deal hasn't been worked out. No way anyone will love him more then Denver does. _________________

Always wondered, is it pronounced "Claid-y" or "Clad-y"?
This guy is probably the best LT in the League right now. Had a spectacular year protecting one of the best QBs. He deserves to be paid and it's a good move by the Broncos to ensure they keep him, whether they dish out the cash this offseason or next.
Before last season I thought the best LT was someone like Long, Peters, or Thomas but now I can safely say almost without a doubt Clady has taken that spot. He's that good. One sack allowed is extremely impressive. |

Nope. Duane Brown was better. If it weren't for injuries, Trent Williams' season would have been better than either of them however. In fact I think time will prove that Williams is a flat out better player than both. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

Duane Brown has a case, Trent Williams is not better than Ryan Clady. _________________
