No, he already signed his LOI, he can't (and wouldn't) decommit.
He is talking about 2014 DE Lawrence Marshall. |
Hard to blame him, it's so early. Let him take his time and look around. I think he just got caught up in the moment (something Urban is really good at creating) and rushed his commitment.
As long as we have Damon Webb it's hard to be disappointed in the way we went into the state of Michigan. Webb is an elite prospect and comes from a Michigan pipeline in Cass Tech. And we may well land Marshall in the end. |

Hopefully he takes all the visits he needs before making his decision next go'round. |
If I recall, I don't think he's even that highly regarded amongst recruiting sites. Just an odd start to his recruitment.

if they do still with this helmet to helmet rule...the refs will do their homework on certain defenders.
if a player is known as being a dirty hitter they will prolly watch that player more in a game, if someone is more of a cleaner hitter and just had a bad hit I can see them not ejecting them.
to me no one on there defense is known as a head hunter so hopefully those guys will get benefit of the doubt

We officially offered Joe Mixon and seems pretty happy about it on his twitter. If you look at this kids highlights he reminds me of Eddie George with how hard he runs could be a big pick up for the good guys.

Seeing how well Meyer utilized Hyde last year has to be a nice tool to recruit Mixon. Hyde is in line for a huge year next season.

after this year (2014) and we can only take like 15-20 this year so i would imagine a big class in 2015 |
