I just got the following message from the Packers camp:

"Not sure who is the GM of the Colts right now, but since you posted their first pick I thought I'd ask you. Any interest in swapping AJ Hawk for Lawrence Guy and maybe a conditional 2014 pick? Guy was a draft pick of ours and is now buried on your depth chart, with Worthy going down for potentially the year and no draft picks on the DL, we could use him back.

Hawk is as solid as they come, but unspectacular, he's a heck of a lot better than what you have at ILB though. We just signed Ellerbe to start and get DJ Smith and Desmond Bishop back from injury, we also traded up for Terrell Manning last year.

Not a huge trade, but I think its beneficial for both us, let me know if you'd be interested."

I'm not sure what to think. Guy really flashed last year and I liked him a lot as someone who could develop into a force on the D-line. Do we need ILB help that badly?

I don't know the answer about the ILB part. I mean I'd be ok with it but...........IDK.

The Colts release the following players:
DE Lawerence Guy .480

I liked Guy, I really didn't know why we cut him earlier!

Can we resign him even though we cut him? We could use another DE.

I'll tell you, I'm baffled by some of those early moves...

Colts get: 5th Round (150th) pick and our 6th round (dont have the exact number)

Cowboys get: 4th Round (120th) and 2014 6th

Not official just gauging interest. Thoughts?

Def not with he pick next year added in. Also really don't like moving that far back.

I don't think that works out on the trade value chart. It seem WAY too skewed in the Cowboys favor.

I'm pretty sure we would do both of our fifths for this pick, which is in your favor value wise. Would that be of interest to you guys?

I think it comes down to how much we value Chase Thomas. If we think he could develop into a good OLB, then we should take him now because he's probably not there are pick 146.
