+1 |
Make that three votes for Gooden if he's there. And what a pick in Gio. Bravo |
So as of now:
OLB Zaviar Gooden - 4
Everyone else - 0 _________________

He's good, but he's a 3-4 OLB IMO. I'd much rather have John Simon or Devin Taylor. _________________

Might as well lock that up as long as he stays on the board. _________________

I might have been thinking of someone else lol. Wow, I need to step my game up for this year.
At this point I would take a DE no matter what though. We can't go this long with no DE. _________________

Both a few years over thirty. I'm not for the AARP DL squad.
Both are good to have on the team, but we need a young guy with potential that can rotate and be effective now. I didn't see that from any of our vs lips last year (Kroy is okay but he's peaking at okay). _________________

My vote is for John Simon.
I'm bothered we missed out on DE. Dwight and Abe weren't supposed to be the answers. We needed to have a fresh rotation.
It looks like Gooden is going to be the pick unless someone ahead of us takes him so here is my list for next round.
1. John Simon
2. Alvin Bailey
3. Brandon Jenkins
4. Quanterus Smith
5. Joe Kruger
6. Will Davis
7. Kevin Reddick
8. B.W. Webb _________________

I like this.. Smith would be #3 on my list behind Simon and Devin Taylor. _________________

The Atlanta Falcons select:
Zaviar Gooden, LB, Missouri
Atlanta had a ton of trouble covering TE's in the 2012 season. By bringing in the speedy Gooden, the Falcons will have the hard hitting, fleet-footed linebacker needed to catch up with these great TE's. we had considered him at our 2nd round pick. So this is a steal. _________________
