Nick Roach was a solid player for us. Would have liked to have him back. But looking at that price and him starting doesnt appeal to me. I think he should be a backup to be honest.

Our entire defence should be considered backups.

Well Ill just say this....dont match him up against TEs

I think we're going to have Kaluka Maivia do that.

Thatll probably work out better. I mean him starting on the outside I think suits him better than MLB. But it doesnt surprise me that a team wants to see what he can do when given the opportunity.

I feel he's pretty much peaked. I never expected this much from him so its a surprise he's even an average starter. That said, I don't see much more growth from him. Maybe he'll shine in a new system, but I don't know if he'll ever be anything more than average.

You can't know for sure at this point. He's been overshadowed by Briggs and Urlacher his entire career. Now is the time for him to prove himself.

I'm not saying for sure that he wont, I just don't see it happening that way. When Urlacher was out and he was in he still didn't look like anything special. I hope he works out well for you guys and earns his money, but until he does, I think you overpaid.

Do you know what his contract is? I haven't seen anything concrete reported yet.

What I read was 3-4 million per year.

4 years $13 million 5 garunteed.

Seems a very good contract for a starting MLB, even if he is only average.

Great work Reggie.
