Why would the Lions trade back up into the 1st just to draft a mid round talent in the first round? Confused

So you have Miami trading for Albert and then taking another tackle in the first? No sorry, that makes no sense. They have a second round investment in Jonathan Martin he will be one of the starting tackles.

It's either one or the other.

If you keep them with trading for albert fine but I would rather stay at 12 and take Tavon Austin or Jonathan Cooper.

If we don't trade for Albert then Johnson should be the pick.

My bad. Totally forgot about the trade when I made the pick.

Carradine is a first round talent. I think he would have been a top 10 pick had he not torn his ACL.

I'd take Jordan Poyer or Jamar Taylor or Logan Ryan for the Skins above any Wide Receiver.

Trading pick 53 for MJD would be unreal. Still a top 3 back in my eyes. Anything after that is gravy. That being said, i love Cyprien and Minter fits as well.

Miami is not going to trade a 2nd & 4th for Albert and then have to sign him to a contract in the 8-9 million/yr range. If they were going to shell out that size contract they would have just resigned Jake Long and kept the picks. Furthermore, they wouldn't do that trade and then trade down with the Steelers and take an OT. Kinda redundant don't you think.

The trade down with The Steelers for Jonnson and extra picks is fine but scrap the trade with KC for Albert. If you want to keep both the KC & Steelers trades then change the pick at 17 to Cooper who would fit perfectly in Miami's ZBS and upgrade RG over our John Jerry. Much more logical.

Terrible trade for the Ravens, especially for Brown. He is absolutely not a great value there.

On top of that, the Ravens need to fill a lot of holes, not one or two so trading away several picks to move up to grab an ILB when the class is very deep in addition to the fact that we've generally had success with later round/UDFA ILBs (though granted, they were next to Ray) points towards a 0% chance of trading up to select one there.

Terrance Williams in round 2 isn't a great value either.

Overall, just not good for us.

No way we pass over Jarvis. No way twice
Okay with swearinger. Not a fan of hunt but it could happen.
No way chase in the second. He offers little pass rush and that's too early for him.

Great 1st round pick but I'd rather stay in place in the 2nd and take Warford. We wouldn't be taking a TE that high if at all. We signed Walker and he'll share duties with Craig Stevens at TE. More physical offense.

I second this Exclamation
