HELL NO to Gaither!!! Out of shape lazy quitter, rather go with Charles Brown and Strief. I like Branch but only on the cheap.

PS: Rumors are that the Niners want to move up for Tavon Austin and a lot of NFL people think he will go around the 15th pick. What would you demand from San Fran to drop all the way down to 31 and in doing so allow them to become more explosive?

I know the numbers don't match up but I'd want no less than the 31st & 34th picks. The Niners would be overpaying about 100 pts (4th round value) according to the value chart but it would be what they would have to do for me to allow it to go down.

The Niners become more explosive on offense (which is scary) but the Saints land two quality picks to help fill out their defense.

What say you?

I thought they had the 31 and the 33 pick? Of course I'll take it. Also hoping that Johnathan Cyprien is still their.

I'd be all for that trade. quite frankly, I don't see the Niners as a significantly better team because of one receiver (tho admittedly, I know nothing about the draft prospects this year, so this Tavon Austin could be Jerry Rice 2.0 for all i know Laughing )

Having said that, the move strikes me as very.... un-49ers, idk. I'll file this possibility with all my other dreams and fantasies Laughing

Why is there an exclamation point at the end of this sentence...? Confused

Laughing

Smart move, Knows the basic playbook but I wouldn't rule out drafting a QB just because of this move.

The only reason there should be an exclamation point there is if it's Colt McCoy. And it isn't, unfortunately.

Colt McCoy sucks, a lot. I'm not sure why people wanted him. He has a noodle arm and average accuracy.

Raiders reached agreement on a one-year deal with former Broncos CB Tracy Porter.

So we're gonna make a harder push for Nnamdi?

Thats what I'm hoping. Nnamdi, Lewis, Robinson and Greer would give us good starters AND depth...Something we haven't had at CB since before I was born. If only we could bring back Mike McKenzie in his prime Crying or Very sad

Jenkins, p-Rob, Greer, Porter

Jenkins was a FS, Robinson was a rookie, Greer was filthy and Porter missed 4 games. Hardly what I'd consider good depth, and its nothing compared to what we'd have now if we signed Nnamdi.

Porter just signed with Oakland on a one year deal. Hopefully this makes our hand forced at going hard after nnamdi

I maybe the only one on here that feels this way but I'd rather draft Rhodes than sign Nnamdi.
