I'd love to have the opportunity in my head, haven't looked into it at all though.

Yup, there are quite a few (I've met like 7-8 myself) here at University of South Carolina

Same with UM

Ditto for PSU

Same with JMU

So 2 for FSU, Purdue, and UMass.
FSU is definitely the cheapest, Purdue is better all around school, UMass has best program for what I want to do.

if youve got the killer work ethic, go for FSU

nothing can stop the killer work ethic

but that being said a bunch of people say they have it and they dont

The reality is this- you're 18. you have no clue what you want to do. Cheapest makes the most sense. FSU has hot chicks. If you have the work ethic, you're gonna do well no matter what. If you;re paying for it, I'd go FSU. If you aren't paying for it, go where you're most likely to do the work (you're most likely to do the work when you're paying for it). Purdue and FSU are both good choices for you, IMO. If you'd be happier in FSU, go there.

Thanks man, I'm visiting next month and have a feeling it is where I will end up. I do know what I want to do, work in sports, scouting or whatnot, but yeah, your points make sense.

remember, if you go to a well known school, and you do well- you can always go to a better grad school.

I know that feel.....where you just feel like you should rewrite the whole thing.

I know. The grammar in some instances was embarrassing. Out of respect to her, I won't post any of it on here Laughing

I can't believe I'm actually arguing for Purdue, but they do slot in @ #4 in this list:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704554104575435563989873060.html?mod=loomia&loomia_si=t0:a16:g2:r2:c0.0684437:b37265586

And no, that's not solely a shameless PSU plug either.

Looking at others in state tuition makes me cry. At least I'm getting my moneys worth.

Yea, I didn't feel like pointing it out but it's just a list. Sure you could get a million others from other sources that differ.

I kinda feel bad for all the jersey/NE kids here. Seems like half of the school is out of state.

ASU at least, isn't TTech supposed to be good at engineering?

Yeah that's about how I had them ranked. I'd like to go to UCSB but it's a little far for me. Davis is closer but doesn't have the beach which I realllllly want.
