Is Matt Leinart that bad?

Quinn is bad too but he's probably camp fodder at this point of his career.

Not to happy with the Quinn signing but yes Leinart is that bad he doesn't have a competitive bone in his body was hoping for Thigpen or Wallace.

I just dont get how Brady Quinn gets NFL jobs over Vince Young...

Yea I know VY has his problems. But at least Vince has has SOME NFL success.

Brady Quinn's "career" is not that different from JaMarcus Russell. Which makes me think no matter how terrible Russell is/was...if he layed off the Purple Drank and at least had a decent work ethic he'd still be in the league. I'm just in awe of how Quinn keeps getting jobs in the NFL.

He got beat out by Tebow. Nuff said.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 43s
Apparently Seneca Wallace really impressed in Seattle, too, even if it appears they liked Brady Quinn a bit more. Maybe he lands in Oakland

I don't understand how players this bad can stay on depth charts for years and years. No other position on a football team can do that. Blah worthless back ups.

Who are you going to replace him with? To find a guy who can run an offense and hand it off properly is more difficult than you would imagine. Ideally every team wants Aaron Rodgers with Kevin Kolb as a backup. But there's not enough good QBs. That's why guys like Kolb, Flynn, Schaub and Palmer keep getting chances to start and some of the 3rd string QBs are awful.

But let's say the worst happens, 2 QBs go down. You need someone. Put any random skill guy there and watch him fumble snaps and handoffs, get sacked and intercepted constantly, and just generally get killed. It would be hard to watch. Not everyone has a TJ Yates

I'm surprised Wallace isn't getting more interest. I would take him as the backup in San Fran over McCoy.

Ew, I really hope he doesn't make the team.

Better hope Josh Portis beats him out for the job...

I was hoping they signed Seneca Wallace just because it would have meant they had two QBs under six feet...maybe the only two in the entire league on the same roster.

oh well...maybe next year after they realize how awful Quinn Brady is.

86.2% completion percentage in a game last year.

Yeah, he's money.

Quinn's decent as a backup. The Seahawks better hope that Wilson doesn't go down with a long term injury though.

Guys like Quinn and even PAT WHITE are getting jobs, right now, because this QB draft class is absouletly terrible.

Seneca Wallace seems to be a better fit for this offense than Brady Quinn, but whatever....

If Wilson gets hurt the season is over. It's stupid that someone would sign Brady Quinn to be a backup instead of someone like Vince Young or better yet keeping Matt Flynn. I'm going to laugh if the Seahawks season comes down to Brady Quinn having to win a few games.
