Because if you don't you're going to wander down a slippery slope...

What's to stop players from saying, well they used to enforce adderal, but enough of us took it so they waived the ban because they couldn't keep up. So if I take/do (blank) and enough other people do as well, then we could potentially get this lifted as well...

It's just human nature to keep pushing the line...

I *think* nugpimpen was being sarcastic, there.

It's very easy to get a prescription. I failed the ADD test on purpose to get them for school. I can't imagine how easy it'd be for an NFL player.

I don't know how old you are, but it gets more difficult to acquire a prescription for adderal the older you are. Most NFL players would have to go through a long series of tests and evaluations to see if they actually need it.

Anyways, this is just an unnecessary comment by Sherman. Why not detach your name from adderall altogether?

He should be suspended because he basically admitted he used it. He got around the suspension and then says this stuff? Is he just stupid or what?

"Legally" is the key word here. Wink

Like all other amphetamines, Adderall is a controlled substance in the US. That means it's illegal to possess it or use it without a valid prescription.

Speaking in terms of college campuses, so is alcohol, but it's VERY easy to gain access to. So is Adderall. Just because it's illegal to possess doesn't mean these guys aren't using it illegally, which is very easy to assume they are considering how many guys test positive for it every year (or maybe it just seems like a lot of guys do).

Let's get back to football. There's no need to discuss how easy or tough it is to get certain drugs.

He cant possibly know that unless he is talking about his own team as a small sample.

Also, i guess they are smart enough not to get caught

I don't really like the part of him trying to say to it should be ok to take adderall without a prescription but he is just stating something that i always assumed that players were taking stuff behind the scenes.

I doubt he purely works out with just Seahawk players.

I was throwing my questions out more as a rhetoric than anything else.

The NFL knows that players beat the system, why doesn't it adjust the system to catch them?
