I voted Khaseem - no real reason, just a feeling I guess. Also found out today that he's already 25 years old. Did not know that.

I really see Khaseen Green starting at SLB and DJ Williams starting at MLB. With Bostic backing up DJ and Anderson backing up Greene.......to me Greene is a playmaker at the OLB position and I personally think he is better than Bostic. I really think Greene was a steal in the 4th round....

I remember the exact same thing being said about Carimi

except one of those guys was drafted by this guy

The difference: Emery drafted Long because of his ceiling. Angelo drafted Carimi because of his floor.

Angelo's "high-floor" method of drafting sucked.

Kyle Long. Basically the only one right now who is pretty much penciled in for a starting job from day 1. Others have the potential to start right now, but have to earn it..

Ah, you're right. I just looked at the birth year, not month. Rookie mistake.

Rolling Eyes

It doesnt matter who drafts you. The player is the player.

Unless the player is drafted by Jerry Angelo, in which case the player probably sucks beyond belief.

Lol im pretty sure 90% of the Bears form were so happy to see Carimi drafted.

Cant blame Jerry other peoples ignorance. I was one of the people that thought Jerry finnally got one right two.

In a year or two we may be asking the same question regarding Carimi as we did with Chris Williams: was he just a bust at the NFL level, or did injuries completely derail his development?

I think Long and Bostic will both be starters at the start of the season, so I'm going w/ them.

I went with Bostic.

I think there's a good chance he ends up beating out DJ Williams before the end of the season and gets the green dot on his helmet. Emery and gang praised his "football acumen" and talked about how "cerebral" he is, so he's probably getting groomed to call the plays out of the MLB spot.

I was torn between bostic or greene. Both of them will certainly get into the game early on in the season but I suspect one of them to be a starter by the end of the year. Both of them are pretty physically gifted and with the right coaching could maximize their strengths and be great players for us...

but I went with bostic just because...coin flip

I don't think Long will make too much of an impact (although I hope he does!) brushrod should hold down that left side and webb will probably be the RT meaning long can only get on the field (or at least righ away) as a guard so we'll wait and see how he transistions there.

I'm going to go with Long. I think he's going to have a great camp and prove to coaches he deserves to be our starting Left Guard.

I also think Bostic and Greene will see some field time as well.
