I'm looking for a new one as I'm going away next week for a couple of days and will need something to occupy me when travelling.

The most recent book I read was Pep Guardiola's biography which was really good.

I prefer non-fiction to fiction, always have. I prefer to learn and educate myself about real things as opposed to stories, just my preference.

If anyone has any recommendations as to any non-fiction books you've enjoyed, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

"Dealings" by Felix Rohatyn was interesting if not quite as in depth as I would have liked - just finished it.

Killing Lincoln is non fiction told in a fictional & was a good quick read as wlel.

Don't read very much non-fiction, but I'll throw Killing Lincoln in there as well. I flew through it.

With the Old Breed by Eugene Sledge.
Ship of Gold in the Deep Blue Sea...by Gary Kinder
Shadow Divers by Robert Kurson
The Killer Department by Robert Cullen

I liked all of these.

Thanks NBT!

I actually ended up buying Friday Night Lights and The Alchemist (Coelho book) from Amazon a few days ago. FNL has been good so far, still a long way to go.

You actually kind of gloss over the fact that it is the Giants because a lot of it more revlolves and why Team A acquired Player A. How things went down et al.

I have Blood, Sweat and Chalk and Football Scouting Techniques coming in the mail soon. The latter was written by Bill Belichick's father.

I've bookmarked it so if I'm struggling to find something I might give it a to, thanks.

What other Football books have you read that you'd recommend? Just out of interest. I've been looking for one, never read any football books before but I'm enjoying Friday Night Lights right now.

None; I did read Alex Fergusons book a long while back.
