Just based upon talent/production, nothing to do with the scheduling I'd have to go with.

BCS Title: Alabama vs Ohio State
Rose Bowl: Oregon vs Michigan
Sugar Bowl: Florida vs Notre Dame
Orange Bowl: Florida State vs Louisville
Fiesta Bowl: Texas vs Stanford

Since I am supposed to disregard schedules, I shall also disregard potential pairings and only predicting what teams make teh BCS:

Bammer Time
Chomp Chomp
Michigan Fer God Sakes
Teh Urbz
The Ville
Chief Osceola
Tree on the Loose
Quack Quack
Hook 'Em
Boomer

i could see it too but I dont see the Voters doing that.

if its end of conference championship week and Oregon, Bama, and OSU are all undefeated, Oregon will be the odd man out.

I cant see an OSU team running a 25game winning streak getting shut out of the title game. The human voters would dictate it enough to allow OSU to get into the game

OSU's schedule is weak

yes I know the schedule is weak but Oregon's schedule isnt that impressive when compared to OSUs

I cant see an OSU team riding a 25game winning streak getting shun out of the title game. No way the NCAA would allow that to happen. The NCAA is all about the money. A Bama OSU title game would make a lot more money than a Bama Oregon title game.

but we wont have to worry about it cause I dont see Oregon going undefeated anyways. They lost a lot of key talent on that team. I see them losing vs UCLA or at Arizona

Their OOC is terrible thats where the big difference is

As of right now, they are eligible for the conference championship and a bowl game. I like Morris at the QB. They also have Duke back, and hes a top 10 back in the nation. Defensively, they have Chickillo and Green at the ends, and a very young, but improving back seven.

I could definitely change my mind to Florida State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, or maybe even a team like Maryland, but like I stated in the OP, this is a quick statement without too much thought.

I guess I'm not as high on Miami as you are. I also think Duke is highly overrated, just look at his numbers against teams who actually knew how to play defense(ND, KSU, FSU). I'm not saying Duke isnt a good player cause I think he is, but hes not a top 10 RB at this point.

Clemson is the team to beat in the ACC if you ask me. As long as the defense progresses they will be tough to beat.

Week 2 will be telling for Florida and Miami- winner of that game could be a dark horse title contender, and if Florida loses it could be a bad omen for Muschamp's continued tenure.

Disregarding the rest of their schedules- only counted this game because its so early and will provide some answers.

Not hating, but what is Michigan going to a BCS game based on? Truly curious as they lost a ton.

Yes its bad but not that. OSU at Cal is about the same as Tenn at Oregon.
Also Oregons conference schedule isnt that bad they dont have USC this year.

I have a hard time seeing a Mack Brown coached team making a BCS bowl game anytime soon.......but what do I know.

Definitely my concern and it really makes me hesitate but I think Texas is loaded this season. But it's not as if the raw talent isn't there and everyone is back aside from Marquise Goodwin (who was underutilized), Vaccaro and Alex Okafor. Not to mention they get to add in a hopefully healthy Jackson Jeffcoat.

I think Texas or TCU takes the Big 12 this year with the two Oklahoma schools in that next tier.

Pretty much have to agree. The computer poll with sell Oregon up the river for not having Urban Meyer as their HC, playing in the Pac-12 (despite the fact that it will arguably be a more competitive conference than the B10 is this year), and the bias that comes with being a west coast team not named USC (or Stanford... as I could see them giving the nod to Shaw and Stanford is they go undefeated and beat Oregon - god, forbid - over OSU).
