Really hope Price gets picked up by someone else. Rooting hard for him to succeed...

Could he play DE in a 3-4?

I'm just a little worried if John Hughes should be a DE or a pure NT for my team.

Maybe, but he's been hobbled by injuries since he fractured his pelvis a couple of years ago. He has to show that's he's injury free and be okay conditioning wise before he can be counted on to contribute.

Too bad.

From what I saw, he could surely play.

Hopefully he can get some luck and stay healthy for at least a couple years.

I think the other big concern would be his hamstrings. Had to have both of them reattached to his pelvis when he injured his pelvis.

There was good reason for those questions. Price underwent two rare and radical surgeries one on each side of his pelvis to correct his problem. Those involved using two metal screws per side to anchor a large piece of bone back to the pelvis. That piece of bone, on each side, is where the hamstrings attach.

Sorry, that's what I meant. The hamstrings are the real concern as a result of the pelvis injury. When he was in Bears camp, he had problems being able to finish practice, and I thought I heard that his hamstrings were still giving him problems. He also failed a conditioning test before Tampa traded him.

Price has been through a whole lot, I'm rooting hard for him to succeed and get past the injuries and become the force he showed flashes of being.

Hopeful for him.

I was a Price fan coming out. Wanted him for the Steelers, but I am glad we didnt. Too many injuries and I think he is head is messed up. Not sure he can ever come back from that. Hope he does, though.

The bears could use another man for their DT rotation, he'd probably be a decent fit in Chicago.

The Bears traded for him last year and he didn't make the team.

Sad to hear he can't stick with a team. Real force at UCLA. Hopefully he gets healthy and can stay with a team.
