I watched a tape on an unknown RB that someone posted on here a while back before the draft.. I forgot all the details on the players and the team. All I remember during that tape was the QB on that team really jumped out to me. It was a shorter QB; very mobile, quick and nimble. Fast release. Looked like a Jeff Garcia/Russell Wilson clone. It was a team from Florida. I thought it was UCF or SFU, but I couldn't find him after looking up their rosters. Anybody have an idea who I'm looking for? Would like to scout him.

Not Bortles. From the tape he looked to be under 6 feet.

Well was it a D1 team? Need a bit more info here. Laughing If it was USF, that was B.J. Daniels, he got drafted by the 49ers in the 7th to play as an ATH.

BJ Daniels definitely sounds like it, although he isn't as good as you describe...

Not BJ Daniels. He had light skin tone. Looked and played exactly like Jeff Garcia. I'm pretty sure it was a small D1 school though not 100%

Well Jake Medlock is kinda what you're describing except not short.

That's... that's really all the D1 Florida schools. If it's not him or Godfrey (who both suck) then I don't know what to tell ya. Laughing

Digging deep here, but maybe Coty Blanchard from Jacksonville State? 6'0'', 185 lbs and a guy who created a lot of plays with his legs.

Got drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 15th round this spring and it looks like he is going to sign, forgoing the rest of his football career at JSU.

JSU is in Alabama

But would he do it in a Sharknado?

We've already guessed pretty much all the Florida QBs.

Right - but the OP seems to not know much about the team or player he is looking for. Maybe he thought it was a florida team because of the Jacksonville name.
