NFL OFFSEASON

Arrow This is a miracle. Cleveland won the Super Bowl. They beat #1 overall Green Bay 35-10! They had 4 return TD's! (2 KR 2 PR)

Cap Room after Team Free Agents - 62.52 Million

NFL Free Agency

(Before Draft)

Darrius Heyward Bey - 4 years, 4 million a year
Cliff Harris - 4 years, 5 million per year

NFL DRAFT

Pre-Draft Plans

So, I've basically scouted the majority of this draft that I have needs for. Thanks to the double scout report points skill I have, I've narrowed down my exact targets by their projected rounds. I'll target two-three players each round. If they're gone; I will trade out of my pick.

Round 1 -
Arrow Anthony Payne, DT. Considered a very early second rounder. Nothing elite skill wise, but nothing bad at all. Seymour is aging, and I need more DL help
Arrow Josh Wilcoxson, FS - Considered a late first rounder. Coverage skills seem solid, but his speed is A and his tackling is A. I might have to pick him over Payne.
Round 2 -
Arrow Jermaine Lawhorn, CB - Don't really need a CB, but this one intrigues me. Speed is reasonable, he's physical, and get this; I fully scouted his catching. It's 83! Shocked
Round 2 -
Arrow Miles Alexander - His speed, block shedding, tackling and pass rush moves were all B. I might have to trade up for this one.
Arrow Jaren Wallace, RG - Doubt he lasts. Seems like he's a solid B at everything, but not A.
Round 3 -
Arrow Jamar Owens, RB - Seems like a solid back, but not a great athlete. If McFadden is traded; he's my pick
Arrow Paul Flueizard, FS - Not the best athlete, but has some solid skills.
Arrow Devonta Jones, CB - Good speed, average coverage skills, good Awareness
Round 4 -
Algrenon Nelson, RB - This is my main target in this draft. He might even be my third rounder, despite his 5th round, pick 1 projection. This dude looks like a monster. Everything I scouted with him is good. He is either an amazing steal, or I'm just clueless.
Cortney Baines, DT - Seems like he's got potential, but not sure. Solid athlete and solid skills
Round 5 -
Doral Brooks, C - Impact blocking was an A and pass / rush blocking is a B. Sounds like something good here.
Beau Likely, WR - Not going to go WR unless I need to, but this dude was tall (6'3"), fit the scheme, and was fast / agile. He might be a diamond in the rough?
Round 6 -
Detchauz Walker, LE - Dude is 6'3" 295, but an attacking 4-3 LDE? Athleticism shows he's a 3-4 DE to me. Only power pass rusher, I think? Think
Round 7 -
Jalen Washington, SS - Speed was A and zone coverage was C. That's all I know. Not bad for round 7.

Exclamation McFadden will likely be gone. Probably a package with my second to move up for that Miles Alexander since I'm running an Attacking 4-3 and I NEED a great LOLB pass rusher. If Lamarcus Fair falls to my pick at 30; I might have to trade a future 1st+ to get him. He's a LT, but he's got elite skills. I need him at RT.

Draft Coming Tomorrow...

NBA Draft

Round 1 (26) - Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Age 20, 6'6" 200 lbs., out of Georgia
Round 2 ( 18 ) - Erick Green, PG/SG, Age 22, 6'3" 180 lbs., out of Virigina Tech

During the Draft, the Houston Rockets offered their 2014 1st and their 2013 2nd ( 18 ) for the Warriors 2013 2nd (27) and Kent Bazemore (67, SG). I took it, laughing hysterically. Bazemore is terrible. How did I get a future first for him? Laughing Houston barely made the playoffs to boot.

Caldwell-Pope was projected Top 5 and fell to me at 26; I couldn't look past him. He's got some great potential as well. Green is an all-around respectable shooter (No matter where) but he's got average speed and horrible Offensive and Defensive Awareness.

Free Agency
Arrow Warriors sign Tony Allen for one year, 1.4 million.
Arrow Warriors sign Kenyon Martin for one year, for 1.11 million.

Arrow Rockets sign Andre Iguodala for 4 years, 41.17 million.
Arrow Rockets sign J.R. Smith for 4 years, 43.65 million.
Arrow Pistons sign Chris Paul for 4 years, 75.03 million
Arrow Bucks re-sign Brandon Jennings for one year 4.33 million
Arrow Cavaliers sign Dwight Howard for 4 years, 76.08 million
Arrow Jazz sign Jarrett Jack for 3 years, 15.78 million (2 million less than I offered him...)
Arrow Spurs sign Nikola Pekovic for 3 years, 22.74 million
Arrow Jazz sign Paul Millsap for 4 years, 38.36 million
Arrow Bucks sign Nate Robinsons for 4 years, 41.27 million [WHY?! Ellis and Jennings stayed!!]
Arrow Clippers sign David West for 3 years, 18.82 million
Arrow Blazers sign J.J. Hickson for 3 years, 21.78 million [Think]

Training Camp
Caldwell-Pope // Untapped Potential (Went from 75 to 85)
Thompson // Athleticism (Went up to 85 speed, 85 quickness, 66 vertical)
Curry // Athleticism (99 speed and quickness)
Barnes // Perimeter Shooting (+3 to all shooting stats)
Lee // Big Man Defense (+4 to D Awareness, Block and Low Post D)

Season Will Start Tomorrow...

NFL Draft

Round 1, Pick 30 - Anthony Payne, DT out of North Carolina // 79 overall
Arrow Like I expected, good potential as a pass rusher. Needs
Round 1 Pick 31 - Miles Alexander, LOLB out of UCONN // 76 overall
Arrow Traded my 2nd and McFadden to move up here. Good pass rusher, he'll grow as time goes by
Round 3 Pick 30 - Algrenon Nelson, HB out of Kansas // 86 overall
Arrow BOOM! Knew he was good! He's elusive, fast and holds onto the damn ball! He's really weak, however.
Round 4 Pick 30 - Doral Brooks, C ot of Lindenwood (??) // 84 overall
Arrow He was a target but I knew he wouldn't be there next round. He's perfect for my zone blocking scheme. Holy steal!
Round 5 Pick 30 - Tim Stadler, QB out of Wisc-Whitewater // 74 overall
Arrow Scouted some late round QB and at this pick, I didn't see anything I liked. Figured I could use a back-up
Round 6 Pick 30 - Beau Likely, WR out of UL-LaFayette // 76 overall
Arrow This cat is FAST! average hands and routes, but who needs them for a spread WR in a spread offense? Dude is a fantastic returner, too.
Round 7 Pick 30 - Marquis Richardson, CB out of Clemson // 69 overall
Arrow Was slated as an early 3rd rounder... Actually has good zone coverage and his man coverage is very high [88]. Good speed, too.

MLB Draft
Exclamation I know the Draft was ages ago, but I wanted to wait until now to present these guys. The Draft didn't have many players that were MLB-ready, but it was deep. Oakland had an exception Draft.

Round 1 - Bo Moody, Age 18, OF, 66 overall, A Potential
Arrow Moody has incredible contact. His Contract (R) is 75 and Contract (L) is 80! His Plate Vision is 61, Discipline is 74 and Clutch is 74. His fielding needs work but he's got 75 speed. Only problem is, his power is putrid. Only 23 from the Left and 29 from the right.
Round 2 - Adam Dorman, Age 20, OF, 63 Overall, B Potential
Arrow Dorman is the opposite of Moody. He doesn't have speed and also needs works on his fielding. However, his contract is poor (27 Left, 29 Right) but he has POWER! Power vs RHP is 70 and Power vs LHP is 77. His Plate Viiion, Discipline and Clutch are 65, 60 and 64; respectively. Once his contact works out; his dude is going to be scary good.
Round 3 - Alex Rivas, Age 20, C/1B, 62 Overall, A Potential
Arrow Rivas is going to be a great defensive catcher. His fielding isn't bad, but his Arm Strength and Accuracy are 90 and 76. His Blocking and Reaction are both just under 60 as well. He's not a good hitter, so hopefully that changes
Round 4 - Tyrell Gibson, Age 19, OF, 48 Overall, A Potential
Arrow Solid hitter to start. Needs a lot of work
Round 5 - Ronald Guzman, Age 18, SS/IF, 42 Overall, A Potential
Arrow Doubt I'll ever see him, but the potential is there and the young age.
Round 6 - Damien Lopez, Age 22, OF, 40 Overall, A Potential
Arrow He'll never be in the MLB, but he had A potential, so I took the chance.

NHL Season gets underway... but not without a trade! With the progresisonof Chris Summers, Brandon Gormley and David Rundblad on defense, the Seals decided to make a trade.

Oakland has traded defensemen Zybnek Michalek (84) and our 3rd round pick for LW Max Pacioretty (84)

Pacioretty is a big power forward. He's got the ability to score 30 goals and lead the NHL in hits. He has a 6 year contract worth 4.5 million each season.
