I agree that the MLB could use an upgrade, although it's better this year than when we won the SB last year with Blackburn, but I can guarantee you the Giants won't select a LBer in the first round next year. Every year LBer is mocked to the Giants in the first, but they haven't taken one in the first in 30 years simply because they don't value that position as a first round grade anymore. The pick will probably be for the secondary. Biggest need will be a corner, unless last year was just a down year for Webster and returns to 2011-2012 form. If Stevie Brown plays another season like last and proves last year was no fluke, safety will be more than fine. Although it's not certain what positions are going to be weaknesses until the seasons over, as well as which players will be released, resigned, etc. you can take LBer off the list.

Outstanding format and presentation.

Wow! That was just a flat out nice looking piece to read.

Bravo Sir. Bravo.

Chiefs pick doesn't make any sense. They just selected Poe in 2012...

And Jackson is good at LE. Even if it is DL I'd expect it to be more of a RE than NT.

Ty Jackson is not good. He's average and will likely not be in KC next year. I would welcome this pick. Dontari Poe can be better utilized as a 34DE.

First off, re: the Browns pick - thank you for having the intelligence not to automatically select a QB with their first pick.
I can't believe that Shurmur was this arrogant, but he took a shotgun based, down the field vertical passer and turned him into an under center dink and dunk passer. And whether we like it or not, Weeds was still a ROOKIE last year, experiencing all the normal rookie growing pains. With an experienced OC behind him like Norv Turner this season, I expect the light to go ON for Weeds - big time.

I like the selection of Ed Reynolds. Would help a secondary in need of playmakers, and as you point out - Ward may opt for greener pastures. I wouldn't mind Bradley Roby either.

Two shutdown corners conjures up memories of the original Dawg Pound members - Dixon and Minnifield.

Your thoughts on Reid and Smith are wrong. Daboli, Romeo and Cassel was a disaster. minus 23 in turnovers. Be much improved

I understand the reasoning for not taking a QB. I like Sammy Watkins more then Lee, but if MN is picking this high, i doubt they will take a WR. I feel that Lee will slide some, kind of like Robert Woods who was also hyped as a top 10 pick at one point.

I would guess that the Vikes would go DE here, considering Allen, Robison and Griffen are all free agents and i doubt MN would keep all three if they have a bad season. Especially Jared Allen, who probably wouldnt return to a bottom ten team at his age.

Therefore, give the Vikes a DE here.

Explain this 2 year window, I'm dying to hear you input on our plans going forward. I doubt you even know how our cap is set up

Otherwise, shazier is a pretty solid pick

1) Manziel over Clowney is just....wow
2) Reynolds isn't that good
3) Jake Matthews at #13 when he would have been the best OT in the 2013 class (which went 1-2-3 OT)?

I don't usually like to use side-by-side photos as a height reference since perspective can play tricks on you, but just as a point of comparison Chris Paul is 5'11" in socks.

Manziel looks like he is 40 something Laughing

Very interesting pick for the browns. We do need a safety in the worst way but I still think we go QB. We have the ammo to go up too.

I would prefer Roby. But I understand the pick. I think Carrington will break out this year opposite Mario in a 43 but Barr would be useful instead of Lawson/Hughes in a 34.

I just see a huge hole oppsite Gilmore.
