Briggs just said on The Score that he doesn't expect Kyle Long to 1st team reps today.

I don't mind a Brown/Long competition.

We all hope for a competition…at every position for that matter…but we don’t have any natural RGs on this roster so I would expect Long to be plugged in there with Slauson or Brown at LG…will be interesting to see how it plays out considering I think LG is also Long’s natural position so do we keep a vet like Slauson at his natural position and play Long out of position? Or do we put Long at LG with the long term in mind then move Slauson out of position to RG?

James Brown opens camp with 1st team at RG

So Slauson must be playing his natural position.

You can tell Cutler's worked hard on the footwork. Concern 4 me is him reverting once it gets real.

I've never really understood the idea of Long at RG instead of LG. I think somebody here explained some logic behind it shortly after the draft...

Are we already seeing some of the impacts of Trestman.

Cutler has shown better footwork for 2 years now. MCW drives me nuts.

Jay Taft ‏@JayTaft 2m
Martellus Bennett is a beast, expect lots out of Bears new TE this season. He's tearing through D in 1st practice. @rrstar_sports

John Mullin ‏@CSNMoonMullin 1m
Shea McClellin with good speed rush around J Webb.

-About Martellus Bennet
I love that we actually have a tight end again. Can't wait to see him this season.

-About Shae vs Webb:
The question is: is that Shae being good, or Webb being awful?

Also @ all you people feeding me news/tips/and the like on TC/Offseason:

THANK YOU

I don't see anything to stop Bennett being a top 5 TE in the NFL this season.

I don't see anything to stop Bennett being a top 5 TE in the NFL this season.

I think the only thing that could hold him back from that is the emergence of Alshon Jeffery. Marshall and Forte are sure to get a ton of balls in the passing game, and there are only so many passes to go around.
