Awesome. By the end of camp we'll have no Dline at all.

Can only assume to help him come back from his injury.

What FA DE options are out there?

There aren't really any options in FA at this point. We have to hope someone decent gets cut and someone steps up until Jenkins gets back (Baker?).

This is really the thinnest position group on the team IMO and the one we couldn't afford to lose people, which of course is why we're having these problems.

This training camp is not starting off too well...

Wow! Talk about a disappointment!! Sad

Richard Seymour, Ty Warren, Nick Eason and Justin Bannan are definitely guys I'd have on my speed dial about now.

Oh yeah, and there's another Shanahn player getting suspended. What's the saying go? I don't remember but all I know is the third time becomes a trend and this is seeming to become a trend with Shanahan coached teams... Sad

I'd take Seymour for a year. Don't think he'd give us a lot but he's a body who knows what he's doing.

The Falcons have been trying to add Seymour for awhile now but he won't budge on his price.

I am sick of our players getting busted for this.

I like the fact that the team tried to withhold him from speaking to the media and he chose to do it anyway. Always nice to hear, pretty pointed in his statements too.

well when you coach as long as he has and players want so bad to play for him it is bound to happen.

also teams have had their issues with players getting into FAR more trouble than some PED's i.e. Rae Carruth, Ray Lewis, Hernandez, Fred Smoot, Byron Westbrook

Shanahan got flack because of the last one but he wasn't serving him drinks. In the contrary, he admitted to using a POLYGRAPH test on players who were convicted in Denver. WHAT more can you ask for than that?????

Yeah he blew up In Oak even for a while there...
Usually would hate one-year-rentals after our history but we actually have a TEAM now.... leaves a bit more room for consideration

At this point, guys, I don't know if we can be choosy. We've essentially lost our three deep from our possible opening day roster on the left side (Worthington with the bicep, Carriker needing the extra surgery, and now Jenkins).

Unfortunately, we only have somewhere in the range of $1.1-$1.4M in cap space. So, we're essentially either hoping the reclamation projects we picked up pan out (... oh boy), or if we can find a vet who is willing to take a one year deal at minimum to prove to the rest of the NFL that he can still play.

You have to assume that a guy like Seymour is a non-starter.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Then either Merling or Brace will get their shot to impress the first 4 games.

When I learned that I tested positive for a substance that is banned under the NFL policy, I was shocked and confused.

Its an obscure substance that Ive never even heard of, and I still dont know how it got into my body. My only guess is that it came from one of the supplements I was taking around the time of the test, even though none of them listed anything banned.

Im very sorry for the effect of this situation on my teammates and coaches, and I also apologize to my family and all Redskins fans. I will be very, very ready to contribute as soon as I get back for Game 5.
nice words, but I don't understand why these guys take supplements at all Confused
