A 2nd round pick in 2011, Jenkins tore his ACL during pre-season of his rookie season but started 14 of 16 games last season for the Redskins.

Guess we know how he was trying to get back from his injury. That really hurts with Carriker not around either.

Chris Baker starts at DE now? Honestly don't know who will fill in with both him and Carriker out. Skins Dline depth is really weak.

More from Jarvis Jenkins on suspension. When I learned that I tested positive for a substance that is banned under the NFL policy, I was shocked and confused. Itís an obscure substance that Iíve never even heard of, and I still donít know how it got into my body. My only guess is that it came from one of the supplements I was taking around the time of the test, even though none of them listed anything banned.

C'mon now son.

It's a banned performance enhancement drug issue not a substance abuse policy issue.

And Adderall is a part of the PE policy.

Maybe Kedric Golston or Phillip Merling jump into that spot?

Twas apparently something associated with a masking agent, he talked to the media about it saying he bought something over the counter from GNC and didn't realize.

While its still his fault, I do like the fact that he was open about what happened and was willing to talk to the media about it instead of hiding away.

It's very likely that he's lying. These players know that if they come out and say that it was Adderall or a tainted supplement, the mainstream media will refuse to even imply that it could be anything other than what it's being claimed to be, because they don't want a potential lawsuit on their hands. And the NFL cannot legally release any information about what caused the fail, so it's stupid for a player not to lie if they care about their image. It's *always* one of three things; I don't know how it got there, it must have been a tainted supplement, and the new one, it's Adderall. The only time I've seen a player own up to it in the NFL is if they recently had an injury. Play up the sympathy card with "I was just trying to get my body right again and made a mistake."
