David Fales over Clowney is ridiculous, NOT going to to happen. Fales is a west coast limited QB without impressive physical tools. Clowney is one of the best defensive prospects ever who just ran a 4.46 at like 275 pounds.

The Browns have Mingo, Sheard, and Kruger already and their GM is Michael Lombardi. Very possible they pass on Clowney there.

Doesn't matter who they have on the roster. Clowney is a once in a decade talent. Fales isn't even a first round talent IMO. No NFL team would be that dumb

The Rams took Bradford over Suh.

Suh was a "once in a decade" talent and there were a lot of concerns about Bradford coming out considering the circumstances of his final season in college.

Except Bradford had a strong arm and could zip any throw on the field to go along with a quick release and good mechanics. He also was an absolutely prolific passer at Oklahoma, a football powerhouse in a strong conference, and ended his career holding 15 school records including passing yards and passing TDs. Fales plays for San Jose State in the WAC and has had one very good season playing against mostly mediocre competition. He also shows middling arm strength.

Can't compare Bradford and Fales as equal prospects IMO.

If the Browns go from 5 wins to three Mingo,Sheard and Kruger failed also. Regardless Browns won't draft a west coast q.b. anyways. Chud and Norv Turners offense needs a strong armed q.b. If Browns don't want Clowney they would trade down.

Cleveland either takes Clowney or trades down for a nice haul, LOL at Oakland if they take Manziel, McCarron isn't a 1st round talent and I'm OK with Kouadinjo for Buffalo but would rather Taylor Lewan

Dont like Yankey here. He wasn't all that impressive to me. But either Tiny (Antonio) Richardson or Aaron Lynch are both huge wish list guys for me. Give me Tiny every day of the week over Yankey, far better player, and much better fit for our power-zone blocking scheme, which tends to favor bigger, quicker LT's.

If it turns out that Dunlap/Starks (looks like Dunlap right now, but way to early to tell) is a solid starter (plausible IMO seeing that our OL coach has recruited Dunlap to play for him since Dunlap was in HS), then give me Lynch. He's a great pass rusher, violent hands, solid burst, and dropped weight to be a more explosive player. Van Noy wouldn't be a terrible option here either.

Also i think your overrating some of the Oregon guys. Lyerla will probably drop due to character concerns, and i guess he's had some mental issues (no idea about that, complete rumor, but seems somewhat substantial). Ifo is more of a late 1st round pick, honestly at this point, T Mitch is the better corner, and Ifo will get knocked for height being around 5'10" possibly even 5'9".

Mosley is a quality player but doesn’t make much sense for the Bears at this point…we just spent a 2nd round pick on Jon Bostic so I doubt we go MLB in round 1 next season…Aaron Lynch, Loucheiz Purifoy or Antonio Richardson would all be better.

firstly I scoff at your 3-13 record for Cleveland but thats beside the point, if were in that spot and we dont do whatever we can to move up to take bridge water or take clowney, I will personally drive to Berea and burn the Browns offices to the [inappropriate/removed] ground...... for David fales......... are you [inappropriate/removed] me

I know he has fans on these boards, but Fales isn't the kind of prospect that should be going second overall. Murray, Manziel, Boyd and McCarron shouldn't go in the first round (but two probably will). I personally don't see anything about Lee that says top ten talent, but I'm aware that opinion isn't necessarily the most popular one. I honestly have know idea what will happen with Purifoy. He's extremely talented as a prospect, but extremely average on game day. I could see him going late first on talent alone.

Reynolds in the first round would be a more than solid pick, but I think the value and need is far bigger for a new #1 CB - give the 9ers Purifoy.

Maybe. But it really depends on how Whitworth responds this year and if they extend Collins. If we are picking that low, I would assume Whit is back to his old self, but an eventual replacement is still a need at some point.
