didn't know he was a FA.

He never seemed like a bad player to me. Should be a decent #4 with the Jets.

Meh, don't think he makes the roster. He'll have to compete with Braylon Edwards, Ben Obomanu, and Ryan Spadola for the last 2-3 spots.

Can't hurt. It's not like the Jets are blessed with copious receiving options at the moment.

And I doubt he has to show up amazingly well to beat out the other guys he'll be competing with.

He was horrid for us. Slow everything. Slow route running, slow out of his breaks, slow positioning his body, slow getting his hands into position. Just slow, slow, slow.

He was expected to be a starter for us until Blackmon came back, at which point he would have slid to the #3, maybe #4 option. By the time he was released, he had lost his "starting" gig, and was behind Shorts, Blackmon, Brown, Sanders, Shipley, Robinson and was slipping behind the guys that will be PS players.
