You need to get a life. Or a dog or something. That kind of repressed anger and hatred isn't healthy.

If that is your rebuttal, it's clear we're done here. You have absolutely no way to disprove anything I've said and that breakdown far supersedes anything I'm sure you've ever even seen done on Gabbert. He's not a good player, and that transcends the talent he has around him. Having Jerry Rice and Calvin Johnson wouldn't change his poor ball placement on practically every throw.

I'm done here, we're done here. Blaine is garbage. End of story. Until you actually come up with something besides name calling and your ridiculous claims, I'm not even going to bother to respond. Because you literally have no argument.

3-1

3-0 when he plays the whole game

Is Blackmon a good pick up under Gabbert? Any chance Henne plays again this year?

Generally Blackmon plays better with Henne. I'm almost positive that you can find a better option unless Blackmon's on the waiver wire and you're in a tight spot.

Henne will play if Gabby gets hurt.

What does Gabbert need to do/show for us to NOT acquire a Qb in next year's draft?

Not putting numbers or a record on it or anything, but he has to look like he can be a legitimate Quarterback and not some bad QB.

He has to start throwing passes on target, allowing for YAC. He needs to push the ball down the field. He needs to utilize the talents of the receivers correctly. Throwing a pass so to Shorts when he's covered, but placing it where Shorts can make a play on it = good. Throwing inside when the receiver is playing outside and forcing the receiver to come across the CB to make a play = bad. He needs to show pocket presence and show that the play calling need not coddle him. He basically has to do the opposite of everything I pointed out here.

Yeah, that is pretty spot on. I would love nothing more than Gabbert to prove us wrong so we could go with a guy like Clowney, I just don't see it. This whole "he's looked different and seemed more free out there" talk about last Friday is promising though. Sitting and watching like he has certainly can't hurt.

Quote:
Of Blaine Gabbert’s 121 passing yards, 98 have come from yards after the catch. That is 81% of his yards which is the highest rate in the league. The league average is 46.3%.

This means that he has .657 air yards (that's less than 1 yard) per pass right now.
