He WILL miss the rest of the season.

Not necessarily. We're hearing now that its a partial tear. Meaning that he could be able to practice in 6-8 weeks again.

This really sucks. Health has really hurt them the last 3 years...

Gronk in the SB

Gronk/Talib in AFCCG

Gronk/Wilfork

Until the moment Brady gets sidelined again, or BB suffers a concussion / some sort of injury to the head, the Patriots are going to be all right and still win their division. No need to hit the panic button unless one of those two is incapable of performing his role.

Pats just need to win enough games to clinch a playoff spot, and then play the backups the rest of the season.

This is a Pats' thread and I'm talking about major injuries hurting their SB chances.

Right now the Patriots are missing Gronkowski, Wilfork, Mayo, Talib, Connolly, and Vereen. The first 4 are among the 5 or 6 best players on the team.

That's a fantastic typo by Rotoworld, as PFF's opinion really is worth nothing.

Agreed. Players who play a lot of snaps and every down like Mayo get ranked lower (usually) in PFF's rating system then guys like James Harrison who just come in on run downs. So Rotoworld just throwing out that he's badly 'ranked' on PFF doesn't really mean a lot...

I still see them getting a buy, the schedule is not tuff and 12-4 is certainly attainable. They will be getting healthy and building depth for the stretch run , a Super Bowl this year would certainly cement the goat status for Brady and most likely for BB. The Patriots need to survive like the Ravens last year and get hot at the right time.

Between June 25 and the end of the Saints game this past weekend, the Patriots lost 9 of their 22 starters, assuming we count Vereen as the starting running back.
