Cribbs should provide a decent spark in the return game. I don't know much about Salas, wasn't he a decent mid round pick who never did much? _________________

i'm glad Cribbs is getting a chance somewhere. he was a fan favorite in CLE. if nothing else he'll play hard every snap he's on the field. |

Why had Cribbs still been on the dump pile up until now? I would have assumed that some team could have used a solid veteran STer _________________

To my knowledge he's been struggling with injuries since the offseason. Multiple sources had him signing with the Cardinals early into free agency but they wanted to wait until he was medically cleared. It was pretty much a done deal I heard. The deal never went through though and he ended up with Oakland and didn't make the team. Since then, he's been out there. |

Salas was killin it in pre season and all of training camp. wouldn't be suprised to see him turn into your #1 or #2 WR assuming his hamstring is good to go. |

He didn't look good in preseason either. Looked like he lost a step for sure. Slower. Looked like he was pressing sometimes by returning kicks too deep in the endzone. Probably was just trying to earn himself a roster spot. |

Salas seems like a nice signing. I think he could stick and maybe even be quite productive. He looked nice in pre-season but we all know about pre-season hype.
Cribbs is really done IMO. Few years ago he could have provided a spark in the return game and in some packages on the O. I think his injuries have really slowed him and I don't see much happening in the return game and little to nothing on the O.
Disappointing because Cribbs was a talented player but there is a reason he hasn't been signed yet. |

A bit harsh considering he had the 4th highest kick return average among returners who returned 20 or more kicks at 27.4. That is about 7 more yards per return than Little is averaging and 5 more than the Browns are averaging overall.
He did have knee surgery that didn't heal well and who knows what his returns will look like, but he never had great speed, he was more of a power kick returner. _________________

Why would they want Cribbs? Did they watch him in preseason on the Raiders? Dude has lost all of his speed and any lateral quickness he previously had. He's done. _________________
