I hope the Lakers have a "1% chance" of getting Randell Laughing

I'm 99% sure you don't. Wink

Derrick Rose underwent successful surgery to repair torn meniscus. He'll miss the remainder of the season.

Apparently the Bulls just announced that he's going to be out for the rest of the season.

So is the guy's career pretty much over, at least as a mega superstar? Seems like he was blessed with inhuman explosiveness but cursed with a body that can't handle them. All the injuries have been non-contact ones IIRC. Any reason to believe this is different than the Greg Oden situation?

Kinda makes you appreciate Westbrook's durability more.

I don't understand why everyone is making a big deal about a guy who shoots 35% missing the season. This isn't news.

Possibly, just possibly because he was a ROY/Mvp/3x all star.

But you know shooting 35% a game where you're obviously still rusty means he sucks. Gosh they don't need his leadership or anything!

Steve Francis tore something else, Metta Wolrd Peace came back after 12 days. Something else is fishy, Even if he were to repair it, Its shouldn't take so much time. Any how! This guy is done, Can't shoot and he'll have missed 2 years of play...

You can get it removed or you can get it repaired. Metta got his removed, that heals basically as quickly as the swelling goes down and he came back freakishly fast.

Yeah getting it removed helps you get back on the court quicker but has long term affects on the knees. D Wade for example got his removed in college and you see he's having knee problems now.
