Push him as a face to take on Orton. Gives Orton something to do until RR.

Agreed. Only 2 good things about the main event. Reigns and his apparent push and Mark Henry returning.

Not a bad ppv, not really a good one either.

Had some good moments. But that ME was terrible.

Was really hoping for a Batista return though.

Unless he comes back as a part-timer (and I'm starting to think that the E, or at least the Haytch-led E, is becoming more and more wary of the the PT'ers after Rock pulling out of WM and RVD's recent bit), Dave's not coming back. He's got Guardians of the Galaxy to promote, assumedly more movies to make, and he's still holding out hope of that MMA career. He's not coming back at his age to work a full-time road schedule with the E.

Didn't hate the PPV. Main event was about as bad as I expected. Show just has no business being in the main event and I'm not sure why they can't find someone else to fill this void.

Ending is obviously setting up a title unification. Can see that happening at the Rumble, setting up Punk as the Rumble winner and all of this ending in a Cena/Orton?Punk triple threat match to main event WM.

Figured he would come out to save Orton or some malarkey like that.

Never expect him to come back full time because he's said that traveling for the E was his biggest complaint. Just got my hopes up to high though and the ppv suffered because of it.
