Not even close. Frazier never coached or managed top defenses in his career, Zimmer consistently does. Zimmer has great football knowledge, something Frazier severely lacked.
My concern with Zimmer is his age, but if you want a true defensive standout as a coach, Zimmer is the top candidate available.
Zimmer is far more closer to D!ck LeBeau then he is Leslie Frazier. LeBeau failed as head coach but was a defensive mastermind, but that doesnt mean Zimmer will either.
If Zimmer hires himself a very good offensive coordinator to take care of QB development, I think Zimmer can be successful. _________________
