Jake Matthews is a very safe pick and doesn't get past Buffalo. I think better protection is a better weapon for Manuel than Evans taking reps from high picks Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin.

We have a large hole at RT and Matthews starts there from day 1

Oaktown - Very well thought out plan of attack for the Browns. If the QB they covet is gone at 4, go get Sammy. A triumvirate of Gordon, Watkins, and Cameron would have to be considered one of the elite units in the league.
Although we saw too small of a sample from Brian Hoyer before the ACL injury, what he did show was the ability to read defenses very quickly, make quick adjustments, and get the ball out on time to the proper receiver. That plays right into the hands of our WR corps.
From the reports out already, Hoyer is ahead of schedule in his rehab. This means, for once, we won't need to rush a rookie QB. Carr at 26 is about the right spot for him to be drafted, although I may wait until a later round and go get Garappolo, Murray or McCarron.
Nice job, man.

Mack = perfect for falcons with Clowney gone.

Not 100% against going to 4 to grab Clowney by giving up say a #6 and a 3rd for #4 if Browns are interested.

I would definitely be interested!

And play him where? 3-4 DE? The browns are beyond loaded on defense and pass rush except for ILB. Watkins is the best offensive player and has probowl potential. I don't see that happening.
As good as the Browns defense was they still didn't do a very good job getting to the QB Mingo led the team in sacks with only 5.A pass rusher like Clowney take this defense from being very good to being elite. I'm 100% the won't take a WR 4 especially since this WR class is very deep.

Horrible Titans pick. They don't need a WLB at 11. Matthews should be the pick easily.

Ah, that's an easy switch. Would they cut their current RT?

Thanks. I actually like Hoyer but I can't speak for the front office. If I had my way, I would give the browns yankey there and have them wait but I don't think that would work out too well.
