I wouldn't do anything more than a 6th for Moore.

Sounds good.

I've just been making some contacts with teams about possible trades involving #32. One trade is with the Packers and it would be a trade back to #53. It is by no means even close to completion, but it's something we could possibly have nearly finalized if we don't like what is available at #32.

#53 is a bit far back, IMO, but it's always worth discussion. Thoughts?

It really depends on what they're giving us back. I love mid-round picks in a draft this talented

I've been working on seeing what the return would be. Initially their GM seemed a bit hesitant in giving up their 3rd round pick, but i'll stay in contact with him.

We also have an offer from the Lions to move back to #45. The offer is:

Detroit Gets:
#32
#208

Seattle Gets:
#45
#141
#189

The rules are that any trades involving draft picks must be within 100 on the trade value chart. This trade would basically be exactly at that mark with Seattle's value at 598 and Detroits at 500. Personally, i don't like the move. Their next highest pick is #111 (worth 72 points) if that were included it would be a far better move. Though, i don't know how likely they are to throw that in because they gave up a lot of their draft picks trading up to #1 overall.

Just wanted to give you guys my thoughts as the 1st round of the draft nears the half way point.

With the depth of this draft and the Seahawks roster and needs i wouldn't have a problem staying put and drafting the BPA at a position of need. I am also open to trading back out of pick #32 and picking up another mid round pick or 2 to add talented depth behind positions that will likely depart in the next year or 2. Lastly, unless a player drops into the 20 range that would really help both now and fill a potential need in the future, i don't think trading up would be in the best interest.

Anybody else's thoughts?

Spot on. I'd still keep looking to see what our trade back options are. I agree though, not a fan of what the Lions are offering there. Too big a gap between picks.

Well Dee Ford and Kelvin are gone, I say we look at a OT or trade down only trade down 10 or so spots though

I agree. I think a trade down is going to be tough. Many of the teams in front of us have been trying to trade down without any luck. The only team that may have had a legitimate offer were the Packers and i just got in contact with their GM who said they are no longer wanting to move up that far.

As far as the draft. If you guys want to post your big boards here or PM them to me if you don't want them seen, go right ahead. We are on the clock from Midnight to 9am tomorrow, times are eastern. I'll be on when we are on the clock tonight, but will probably make the pick tomorrow morning, just in case something can be worked out.

If there isn't much of a consensus on who we should draft at #32 or if a trade back becomes available, i'll just try and make the best decision i can.

I actually like Su'a Filo more than Bitonio, but only slightly.
