Defense:
1. Kiko Alonso (Bills)
Alonso came onto the seen with an instant impact. Registering 159 tackles and 4 interceptions. Alonso has natural instincts and high football IQ with speed and size. Alonso took over as defensive signal caller from day one, which is rare. Combined with Jim Schwartz's system, expect Alonso to have an even more impressive sophomore season.

2. Stephon Gilmore (Bills)
Gilmore's rookie season was just as impressive as Revis's rookie season in 2007. Most of his sophomore was lost due to wrist injury, but Gilmore who is more of a stopper than ball-hawk, can play cover-0 all over the field. He should line of with opponents no. 1 receiver in 2014.

3. Dion Jordan (Dolphins)
The no.3 overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, was a no show for the Dolphins in 2013. He often found himself on the sideline more often than not. However, his freakish athleticism has not diminished. With a full preparation in the offseason, expect Jordan to make a impact in year two.

4. Dee Milliner (Jets)
Milliner didn't live up to the hype of the no.9 overall pick in last year's draft initially. However, he did miss a handful of game due to injury. Toward the end of the season Milliner broke up 10 passes, and caught three interceptions in two games. That flash takes me to believe he can live up to his billing in 2014.

5. Vincent Rey (Bengals)
The four year backup shined as a every down player in 2013 when Rey Maualuga went down with a injury. Rey recorded 4 sacks, 2 interceptions, 5 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 57 tackles. For a backup, thats impressive Rey is a restricted free agent but rarely do restricted free agents get signed by new teams because their old team is then entitled to a draft pick from that new team. Either way, if Rey remains a Bengal or goes to a new team expect him to serve a significant impact.

*Please feel free to add anybody, these are all guys who I think are going to have a significant impact to their teams success in 2014.

Keenan Lewis. Already a great corner, but I don't think he really gets a whole lot of recognition. He'll be recognized as a top tier corner soon.

For the Ravens, Arthur Brown. Expected him to have a better rookie year, but bringing in Daryl Smith on top of some injuries put a halt to that. But, he should likely be starting opposite Smith and I could see him racking up quite a bit of TFLs.

I'd add Jimmy Smith to that list as well. He's about to become known to more than just Raven fans as one of the best CBs in the entire league.

Both of these guys for sure. I want to add Matt Elam, but it depends on who we have playing FS for us.

Saints:

Not only is it possible but I think that there is a very good chance that we could see both Keenan Lewis and Kenny Vaccaro in the pro bowl next season.

Kayvon Webster. He showed some good potential but he still got beat on some plays. Some of it was just rookie mistakes and some of it was because the pass rush was so bad that he had to cover much longer than an average CB had to.

Oh, I never put that together. I wondered why his name was never among the league leaders in tackles for loss. Seemed like he was always in on the play.

For the Raiders, Sio Moore. The dline is a much better pass rushing unit than last year which will free him up when he's asked to get after the QB, which is regularly in the Raiders hybrid.

Byron Maxwell. He was playing phenomenally after Browner was out and I don't see any reason why he won't improve this year.
