I mean at least this means Christian Hackenburg will play next year, Josh McCown won't last 2 games. Still 6 million guaranteed with 7 million in incentives is a nice chunk of change for McCown...Hope he enjoys it while he can remember things.

For a guy that was a season away from being out of the league before that awesome 2H run with the Bears, nice to see him get paid. His family will thank him down the road.

As for the Jets, if anything, I'd guess this solidifies them for taking another QB...Trubinsky at 1.6, perhaps? I thought Hack could be a decent project...but he makes sushi look well-cooked.

Who knows he might actually not be awful with 2 off-seasons of development at the very least you'll know if he's the QB of the future or actually as bad as he's supposed to be.
