It really is. I heard it some where , but forgot where. I'm trying to be supportive even though I have a little doubt. I still think we're in a good a pretty good position, but Hack being good will be the best thing to happen in years. _________________

A QB. McGlinchey Or Brown, Hyde and Connor Williams.
We'll still probably need a CB so, depending on where we draft Fitzpatrick, MacFadden, Jordan Thomas, Iman Marshall or Jaime Alexander are on my radar. I'm also looking at RBs like Barkley, Guice, Chubb and Freeman and
Edge rusherees like Key, Tyquan Lewis, or Harold Landry. Maybe an ILB like Malik Jefferson, but more likely a Jack Cichy in the middle rounds |

You are right about Calaway, I saw all his games down here in Florida and he is a very dangerous receiver. |

Hard to do since there's no consensus on where players' stock is yet, but gimme Jake Browning (QB, Washington), Duke Ejiofor (DL, Wake Forest), and Equanimeous St. Brown (WR, Notre Dame) as players currently considered day 2 guys who I think could make it into the first round. |

As a florida fan, the guy has some serious talent. off-field, not the sharpest tool in the shed. |

It hurts me to see great players fall to things like this. I blew my chance to play college football , so topics like this are a bit deeper to me. _________________

Yea some of these players take the opportunities given to them for granted. I understand making a mistake, but this is not the first time Callaway has been an issue with off field behavior. Eventually you just need to call it stupidity rather than being a kid. Not sure where that line is though. |

I don't get it either Rick, Callaway has all the talent in the world. He was the most dangerous receiver in college football last year. He was so good the Gators, used him on kickoff & punt return teams. Things never change, Mickey Mantle & Whitey Ford were out drinking all the time and getting into trouble, but in those days it was sweep under the carpet by the press, no social media in those days. |

Yeah, there are too many examples for players to look up to for this to keep happening. But I will say this, some of the athletes are used to just getting a slap on the wrist for things like this until they get to the NCAA. It also could be as simple as hanging with the wrong crowd. That's the problem with a lot of athletes.
Even at age 27, I still imagine myself playing out there. So when I get the chance to, I mentor a lot of young kids on how to hang around the right friends and the importance of grades. _________________

I love how smoking a little bud is "off the field issues" lol.
You can be a complete POS, knock you broad out on camera and drag her by the hair, knock out a fan who wants an autograph, or literally assist in killing a guy the week before the super and get a pat on the [inappropriate/removed], let if you spark up an L your a troubled young man who shouldn't be in the league. GTFO. _________________
