United isn't really selling... that ship has sailed. Madrid just needs to move on especially after the BS they pulled on the Morata deal. No way we sell to them.

Thought he didn't want to play for any non-Juve team in Italy...money must be good. So disappointed he's leaving. He proved he was superior to Florentino's man-crush. Oh well, glad he's at least not going to United or Chelsea

I like Gibbs to WBA and Woj to Juve if those are true. Gibbs might not be CL quality but he'd be a hell of a LB for a club like Palace and that fee is good for what the market currently is. Chambers is a bit pricey but I think he has a lot of potential at CB for Palace.

Getting 44m (and around 200k p/w off in wages) for those 3 players is good business. Debuchy is off to Nice too, which will free up another 70k p/w.

12m plus 4m add-ons which I doubt we paid. He was decent at Boro last season.

Phil Neville saying Everton could 'do a Tottenham' and challenge for the top 4. Is it just me, but I don't see that at all. They've lost their best player and haven't really brough in anyone fantasic, in my opinion. Keane has the potential to be a good EPL player, same with Pickford. Klaassen and Sandro are unknowns and Rooney is way past it. I don't think they've actually improved at all. Who is scoring goals for them? I think they're a long way behind the top 6, who all look to be as competitive as ever.

Almost assuredly has to do with them now having several former United players including Rooney. Occasionally there are some nuggets of wisdom and keen observation from the Nevilles, but for the most part it's biased punditry with a heavy United/Fergie-on-a-pedestal lean.

Ademola Lookman obviously. He should easily be able to match Lukaku's goal scoring rate.

In all seriousness though I have to imagine they still plan on signing someone to replace him. It is a bit hard to look at that squad and think they've really closed the cap at all. I think Pickford and Keane are going to really improve them defensively but in midfield and up top it definitely doesn't look any stronger than last season, especially if they lose Barkley (who is a frustrating player but now their most dangerous player).
