I think it's time for Jerry Jones to buy a basketball team.

There are so many rich dudes in Houston that that would never happen. I'd expect Jeff Hildebrand, Dan Friedkin, and Fertitta to be the main suitors.

Yo doggies, let us all pitch in and buy the Houston Rockets. I can contribute $20 right now.

Also wouldn't be surprised if some mega rich Asian dude comes in and buys the team with the ties that Rockets have. That might be best case scenario.

Feel like this is super overrated, but I might be wrong. Had a buddy deploy to South Korea and he vacationed in Hong Kong, he said alllllll he saw was Lakers gear.

Yao is their most famous athlete ever. Rockets have sponsorship agreements with multiple big Asian corporations and even designed their jerseys to attach themselves to that market. It's a massive partnership.

Hell no to Fertitta. As a UH alum (he is one too) I don't want him owning the Rockets. He already has 1 strike to his name hiring Major Applewhite.
