He has potential, but might only make it as a return man or 5th reciver. Pack let him go because they are already reciever laden with Walker, Driver, Ferguson, Murphy, Bragg, and Chatman.

hey jagz i dont know if you already looked him up but heres some info on him off of NFL.com.

Quote:

OVERVIEW
Regarded as one of the premier pass catchers in the country coming out of high school, Kelvin developed into a standout big-play specialist for the Gators in addition to performing on special teams as a kickoff returner He started 20 of 46 games for the Gators, participating in 1,607 plays Closed out his career with 90 receptions for 1,282 yards (14.2 avg.) and six touchdowns, adding 320 yards on 15 kickoff returns (21.3 avg).

ANALYSIS

Positives: Has a nice frame with good upper body thickness Short strider with good initial quickness and acceleration off the line Has the speed to uncover and escape by using his strength to defeat the jam Bit of a straight-line runner, but is effective on linear routes His awareness gets him separation and does a nice job of settling in the short area to haul in the underneath tosses Not afraid to go inside and take a hit to get to the ball in traffic Shows natural hands to catch away from his body's frame and secures the ball firmly before turning upfield More of an intermediate possession-type due to a lack of top-end speed, but makes fluid body adjustments to haul in the ball Gives good effort and has the vision to locate and lock on to defenders blocking for the ground game in the second level Self-starter who will do the little things to improve and sets a good example for the younger teammates.

Negatives: Toned, but could use better muscle definition (not ripped) Straight-line runner who gets too high in his cuts in the short area Lacks the sudden burst needed to separate upfield (more comfortable in the short area and does not have the speed to run past defenders) Has a passion for the game, but loses concentration when he is not involved in the action for long stretches.

AGILITY TESTS
4.55 in the 40-yard dash 385-pound bench press 535-pound squat 320-pound power clean 35-inch vertical jump.

Just wondering:
Rams with their pass happy offense had him. Cut him.
Packers with somewhat pass happy offense had him. Cut him.
Is there something us amateurs are missing?

Neither the Rams or Packers really need recievers, and neither do the Jags right now, thats why I was wondering why we did it. He is probably there for depth and to push the other WRs in camp
