Offensive MVP: Priest Holmes, RB
Deffensive MVP: Kendrell Bell, LB
Breakthrough Player: Kris Wilson, TE
The intriguing young talent was injured for most of 2004 but could form quite a tandem while testing defenses with Tony Gonzalez.
Position Battle: FS: Jerome Woods vs. Greg Wesley
Struggling in 2004 after signing sizable extentions leaves them fighting for a starting spot with with new SS Sammy Knight penciled in. _________________

I dont really disagree with any of those choices.
my predictions
Offensive MVP: Trent Green, QB
Steady unquestioned leader of this offense.
Defensive MVP: Sammy Knight, S
Will emerge as the leader of this defense. A bigtime takeaway kinda player will earn him MVP.
Breakthrough Player: Sammi Parker, WR
Expect Parker to start opposite Kennison and really showcase the hard work he's done in the off-season. If OTA's are any indication, he will be a big play presence for this team all year long !
Position Battle: MLB
Mitchell, Scanlon, Maz, and Grigsby all fighting to be the man here - Mitchell will probably win this out if he is out there reacting instead of thinking. He can be pretty explosive. All these guys have a shot tho. This was one of the poorest played positions for the Chiefs in 04. _________________ In Andy We Trust!
