|
|
|
Quote: | Determined to have all their rookies under contract before the team reports to training camp on Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers achieved that goal on Sunday afternoon, reaching agreement with first-round draft pick Lawrence Timmons.
Timmons, 21, will sign a five-year contract that, including incentives, has a maximum value of $15 million. The contract, negotiated by agents Drew Rosenhaus and Jason Rosenhaus, features $8.053 million in bonuses. |

Good deal, I believe he is number 3 of 32 for the 1st rounders right? This also sounds good to me as he is a LB and will help get the pricing down for Willis' contract so we can get him signed soon.
Congrats to the Steelers organization for getting all of their picks signed so quickly. |

Yea, he is the third to sign. I hope this gets the other picks signings rolling so all the rookies will be in camp. |

When I see highlight reels of Timmons hitting QBs and RBs, I cringe. _________________

Yay, looks like Darrelle Revis should be signed shortly.
Props to Pittsburgh for getting Woodley and Timmons in camp on time. They won't miss Porter one bit. _________________

Good for him and them.... I'm hoping Reggie will be signed soon.
We only have 3 rookies left, out of 11... so we are doing pretty well in that aspect. |
