ant no surprise that he ended up in Oakland they loved him coming out of Standford..but they picked thomas howard..hopefully he can spend this year on the PS and next year make a impact.. |

I've been watching the waiver wire for him too. I'm still upset that we let him go. He actually rejected an offer to sign on to our practice squad in the effort to get more playing time somewhere. Here's an article that was published on 9/3/07:

There are apparently 5 CFL teams that are interested in him right now. There have not been any confirmed NFL teams that have shown interest yet (that I can find anyway).

If you claim someone off waivers, they go onto your 53 man roster. he is on your team now.

no, i don't think that's how it works.
if a team waives a player, hoping that no one picks him up so they can put him on their practice squad, then the new team can put him on their practice squad.
but if a player is already on a practice squad and another team claims him, then they have to put him on their 53 man active roster, not their practice squad.
