I heard that McCown would be starting because he has been there longer and Daunte has not had time to "adequately learn the offense."
Based on this, I'd say McCown's job is safe until about Week 14.
I wonder what Las Vegas oddsmakers say will happen first?
- Jamarcus Russell finally signs with the Raiders
- Daunte Culpepper finally learns the offense _________________

Read my sig dude.
And well as far as ive know...I heard continuously on "Point After" the show on NFL Network that the Adam Sheftar reported that Josh Mccown will likely get the start and that Lane Kiffin will likely not announce the starter at all and let his guy just walk on to the field.
Either way I just dont see Culpepper doing anything now.
His career has been based upon chucking blind deep passes down field to Randy Moss, which in turn jacked up his comp % by leaps and bounds.
He is still however an above-average short range accuracy QB, I will give him that...but his injury is still proving to be a sub-concious thought to him which has ruined his career. _________________

I don't know what the people who said ESPN reported Culpepper are talking about. Who reported it? John Clayton and Michael Smith both were pretty certain it'd be McCown. _________________

If he can stay healthy, and everyone gets comfortable with him, the Raiders will still suck. _________________

They should start Culpepper he had a good pre-season and McCown proved he wasn't a starter in Arizona. _________________
