Didn't Clarett make some kind of contract concessions or something? Seems he set a high bar for himself and mentioned he wanted to prove his worth and took alot less $$$.

Just because you sign or something like that, doesn't mean that your a lock for the team, you can still be cut if you don't perform and you cant do anything on the DL

Oh, I agree with you golf....but the thing about it is tht Denver will not be out a crapload of money in the deal. If, and I stress IF, Clarett did sign some kind of "special" deal, it was a win-win situation for the Broncos.

Not being a Bronco fan, I do not follow them that closely, but rumblings from Shanahan indicate that Tatum Bell is going to be given every opportunity to be THE guy.
Denver has had a double-edged sword of a run game, in that they always seem to be able to pug just about anyone into their system. The other side of that coin is that they also seem to be unable to keep their backs healthy.
