i dont see the wolves drafting another guard unless they ship one of the ones they have now (mc cants/foye) away... i think that b.lopez would be the 1st rounder (even though i love mayo and would like to see him in a wolves jersey) _________________

No, no, no, no, NO!!! We don't need another forward. Martell Webster and Travis Outlaw will be holding down the three for years to come, and Channing Frye, LaMarcus Aldridge and Josh McRoberts are a terrific trio at the PF position. If it comes down to it (And Collison and Lawson don't declare) I would MUCH rather have them reach and grab PG DJ Augustine from Texas. We desperately need a playmaking point guard.

Who? All in all, I'm not happy in the least with this mock. Enough foreign unknown players for the Blazers. We already have Rudy and Sergio, that's enough for us, thank you. _________________

I highly doubt that the Blazers reach on DJ Augustin when they can grab a point guard like Beaubois in the second. The kid isn't a walkover like you make him out to be.

Tomic and Forbes are high quality second round picks and Anthony Randolph is the BPA at 13.
You act like Webster and Outlaw are superstars and can't be replaced. Randolph adds something called depth and has the potential to be better than both players. Webster is more of a 2 guard with the way he plays outside anyways. Outlaw plays more like a 4. Randolph is the pick IMO. _________________

I think OJ Mayo trumps both players at the guard position and sends them to the bench. Brook Lopez is great but not a superstar like OJ Mayo will be. Mayo will bring TV time back to Minnesota which is something this young team needs to show how talented they are and how good they will be in the future. _________________

I am really hoping that Ibaka is their when the Magic pick so we can pair him up with Dwight. Although it would be hard passing up on D.J. because we do need a new PG. Ibaka and Dwight would make for a dominating front court. _________________

I'm not really digging the Knicks' pick, Bayless and Gordon would be hard to pass on, but I think Center is our biggest need, so give us DeAndre Jordan. _________________

I'd be happy with both of em. Nice job man, not only for the Suns but as a whole. great mock. _________________

I agree with bkobow05 on this one. Mayo is seperating himself as the #3 prospect on my board. With minnesota's woes the past couple years (especially this year) we could use a superstar name in Minny. Mayo would also give us quite the 1-2-3 punch with Big Al, Mayo, and Foye. that lineup could score with anyone in the league. Throw in Brewer and Mayo's D and that lineup is scary.
I prefer Jason Thompson to Hickson at 31 but that is just me (I like Hickson but I just have a feeling that Thompson will be good as I picture him as a Lemarcus Aldridge). I don't think that Courtney Lee is the pick in the second, especially with the selection of Mayo. We would have 4 score first guards in Foye, McCants, Mayo, and Lee. Maybe give us one of the European centers there. Nice mock overall though, keep them coming (especially when the Minnesota picks are good). _________________

i may be wrong but how i see it in the west you are going to need two good bigs to be successful. look at the lakers (gasol/bynum) blazers (oden/aldridge) and the clippers (kaman/brand) are doing....
im not saying that mayo isnt the 3rd best prospect in the draft its just that i think that the wolves need another big man to be competitive in the west. my viewpoint may be wrong but i see brook lopez as a poor mans tim duncan. he has great size, wingspan length, excellent hands, athletic and coordinated, and can run the fastbreak and finish, as well as score in the post. also he has polished moves down low and can score with his back to the basket or facing the rim and is strong so he can establish position in the post offensively.
i know mayo has the star potential but i personally don't want another tweener combo guard, but i could be wrong and they could select mayo this year and get someone like blake griffin, bj mullins, kosta kufos or hasheem thabeet next year to pair with al _________________

Still upset about us trading are 2nd round pick for Ricky Davis! This draft is so talented, would love to add another quality player, such as JJ Hickson, or another center. |

You also traded a future first rounder too. We robbed you guys!!!! (wow the wolves actually getting the good end of a deal ).
The Wolves made 3 trades where they came out ahead. The first was the KG trade, where we got a future star, two solid players, and 2 first rounders. The second trade was the Miami Heat trade where we got rid of Ricky Davis and Mark Blount for Walker, Doleac, a second rounder, and a first rounder. The final trade is the Gerald Green trade. We got Snyder who produces better than Green (who was already cut) and a second rounder. What is this? Kevin McHale making good moves? _________________

I would probably go with Ibaka or Augustin at 20 for the Nuggets. SF is not a need at all with Melo and LK _________________
